Now that Central Michigan's coach is headed for Cincinnati, do you think that Macon will follow?

Oh no!! I cant agree with Capone. What I saw from him he is no doubt a tremendous athlete. Won a ton of game, so I dont question his leadership skill either, as long as things were going good. I am not sure how Dwight handles adversity. He did throw a few temper tantrums and some of them directed towards teammates. He wont openly question a college coach during them game and get away with that too often. Good Luck to him though and hope he scucceeds.

I know he's high maintenance. That's why I hope he goes to Cincinnati. If there is one person who could sit down on him, it's Collaros.

If Macon does go to UC, where do you see him lining up? Right now they have Collaros for the next two years and Brendon Kay after that. In additon, they do have verbals from Dominque Brown and Luke Massa. Brown > than Macon imho. Do you see Macon lining up elsewhere?

I wouldn't have my starting QB spend one minute "sitting down on" a "high maintenance" freshman.

At Cincy, Macon would be my Safety nexy year. I still see him going to CMU.

I never meant to suggest that the coach would tell Collaros to do it. But we Big Red people are as thick as thieves and I'm sure Collaros would say something if he saw a problem.

Will not make it 4 yrs at cincy.College coaches will not baby him like reno did when he has a tantrum and he will be done because their are a hundred macons a year that go off to college and find out that they are not the top dog anymore and you either do it the coaches way or you can go home and hang out with your buddies and hope to find a job.I am sure colloras has other things to worry about instead of babysitting macon.I do hope he grows up real fast because he is one hell of an athlete and has a chance to get a college education at the school he decides to attend if he can just stay on the team.

He's one really tough kid. He came back from a separated shoulder in the Woodland Hills game to lead Big Red to victory over the WPIAL AAAA champs. Not many quarterbacks could have done that.

Collaros wouldn't have had to come back... He would have picked apart Woodland Hills. If not with his arm, he would have done it with his legs. Take nothing away from Macon... One heck of a High School QB, but not anything bigger... Just another face in the crowd when it comes to D1 football.

^^^^ The dumbest statement that I've ever read !!! Zach must be superhuman?!?!?! Are you also the person that says that Colt McCoy really wasn't hurt and Vince Young would have just passed the ball left handed?????

The only thing Dwight needs to do in Football to succeed is to lower his "me".Once he learns that he should go far.

Getting back to my original question, where is Macon going? If the coach thought he was good enough for Central Michigan, will he also think Macon is good enough for Cincy?

For that matter, Macon received some other offers. I know he got an offer from at least one BCS team. I wonder if he might go there.

I guess I would rather be on a good MAC team than a bad Big XII team. Central Michigan ended the season ranked 23rd in the nation. Kansas and Kansas State didn't rank anywhere. Besides, CMU is sending their quarterback to the NFL, so this team is capable of producing pros.

I thought the Wyoming offer he had was attractive with their spread and the Mizzou coach that groomed Brad Smith and Chase Daniels taking over their head job. Yes, they showed they have a good freshman qb. But, go there and redshirt a year to develop/wait, and I at worst you have 2 years of starting after 3 years of development in a better conference.

I dont believe that Cincy can now start recruiting Macon, since the coaching changes. If Cincy was talking to him before they can now.
