The only way I see Harbaugh coming within 4 TDs of Ohio State is if Urban Meyer leaves the program unexpectedly and takes his talents and his players talents to South Beach. Harbaugh is 3 years behind in recruiting and he will never be able to make that up.

OSU was coming off two bad seasons and losses to UM before tressel came in and he beat them the first year.


and as good as OSU has been the last 3 seasons, and as bad as UM has been, the last three matchups were close, and well within the 4 TD's. This year was just 14 points and was much closer than that.

Maybe I'm wrong and he's at Michigan for a decade or more, but I think based on how this played out it seems like he went back to Michigan because his people didn't get the sense he'd be wanted by any team not named Oakland. #1) Harbaugh is not Tressel. Tressel actually won something at the college level, including multiple championships while the best Harbaugh has done is leave Stanford with zero relevant wins and being fired from an NFL team. Harbaugh is 1/8 as good as the scum on the bottom of Jim Tressel's toilet bowl so please tame the comparison.

#2) Urban Meyer is bringing in the best recruits OSU's ever had and winning with them on and off the field. Their defensive line is better than some NFL teams and is only going to get better as Urban will have all of his recruits on the team soon enough. If I'm Harbaugh, I'd look for the next opportunity in the NFL ASAP because he sure as shit isn't going to beat Meyer in the recruiting game nor on the field.

and if he and the front office hadnt bumped heads too often he would still be in SF.
He seems smart so why go to Oakland? Right now that is a position for a new NFL head coach or a retread desperate for a job. Sort of like the Wash job. Coaches knew they would have to deal with Dan Snider meddling so what top tier coach so it went to an unproven Gruden!

Harbaugh has won at San Diego, Stanford, and San Fran.

and dont forget...as good as OSU has been the last 3 seasons, and as bad as michigan has been, the games have been very close with this year getting a score late to pull away.

How many national titles/Super Bowls did he win? That's what sleeper is stating.

And to an extent I somewhat agree with a few of his points, mainly the fact that Andrew Luck carried him to the record he has, evidence in the fact that Luck immediately turned the worst team in football to a playoff team. He's a good coach, but i'd be afraid if I'm a Michigan fan that a.) he wears out his welcome quickly, or B.) Bolts for a top notch NFL job.

My exact line of thinking. There are a lot more franchises than the Raiders looking for a coach. He would have been #1 priority for most, if not all.

To answer your question, zero. Tressel won his at Youngstown state, not really on the level of stanford. PUt tressel in the NFL...he doesnt win anything.
At San Diego he was 11-1 his last two seasons. That league they were in, the Pioneer, doesnt have any sort of post season tournament or anything. It is, or was, the same league Dayton Flyers played in.

We all know sleeper is over the top on his predictions and I was just trying to set him straight a little bit. Michigan has been bad the last couple of years and were right there with OSU. That rivarly is huge and eventhough OSU was superior in talent over UM, it didnt necessarily show up on the scoreboard in blowouts.

I am not sure about the whole tampering and talking to coaches between college and the NFL. I know from NFL to NFL team it is a no-no. No doubt UM was all over this to get Harbaugh and was going to do whatever they could to get him.
Also it is possible that the mutual parting of ways by SF and Harbaugh was done because he was going to michigan. I highly doubt there would have been this mutual parting if he seriously was going to another NFL team. SF would have tried to trade him as the rumors were earlier on, and what was rumored to be attempted last year in sending him to Cleveland.

Yeah, many teams would have wanted him but I dont think it was going to be that easy

I don't think he had a choice. I think there was only a "mutual split" if he went to Michigan. Otherwise, San Fran could've traded him to a team he didn't want to go to.

These are all nice BUT ZERO FUCKING CHAMPIONSHIPS. The dude had ONE, fucking ONE good season as a Stanford coach with Andrew Luck in the backfield.

TL;DR: Harbaugh is an average coach and will get absolutely rekt in against Ohio State every year. Book it!
