Parents of children or families with an adult with behavior issue .. Need to man up and get those individuals help .. Problem there is no help for the cost and insurance.

Failure of the education system to handle, report, track and deal with the potential mentally illness and social behavior problem kids early Hey school system you know who they are help them .. School social counselor. Again no real place or program to use or to follow up with after those kids leave the system

The stigmatism of mental illness and those with social behavior issue is worse than racism .... But the politician does not address mental illness or the fact this fucking kid and so many like him slipped throw a bad system of government failed social programs.

Stop with the band issue of gun control you asshole liberal socialist and deal with the real issue...Redefining what can be done for the help, support and prevention of mental illness and social inept individuals.

Agreed. His rant wasn't about 9/11. It was about how if this was about Muslims shooting up a Christian church we would be out for blood. But, it is a white kid and suddenly, it is different. There is a double standard.
Or, how we call for war when an American is beheaded by ISIS and claim the President is weak when he does not send in 100,000 troops.
Yet, when 9 Americans are gunned down at home, oh, it is a tragedy and let's not change anything.

The reality is we don't give a damn about fixing the system that allows mass murders.
People do not want to change the system.

And, for all the talk about mental health, you know that involves a real discussion on how racism still exists right? Also, if there is a real discussion on mental health, could that also include restricting gun sales, or the ability to get a gun to someone that is ill?

I'm in the acceptance phase of this now. More mass shootings will occur and the country will go through the same damn cycle again.

Both. Nobody cares enough to change anything and nobody has a solution.
We go through this typical cycle where we have the tragedy, there is grief, then there is a push to change the existing system to try and prevent the next one, then push back and finally things fall back to normal, we all move on.
Rinse and repeat.
Nobody cares enough to push for this to change and as a result, no on has as sensible solution.
Until then, we all have accepted to live in a country where mass killings will happen and we do not give a damn.
