This. I wouldn't say he's established himself as franchise future for sure, but he's definitely playing a lot better.like_that;1688342 wrote:He has been playing a lot better the last 3rd of the season.

I ask you to elaborate, but I already know what you're insinuating. A decision being made on Manziel in 3 games wasn't going to happen no matter how bad he looked.se-alum;1688332 wrote:Manziel injury is the worst possible scenario for the Browns.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. Pettine already hinted toward it being a big enough sample.Pick6;1688351 wrote:I ask you to elaborate, but I already know what you're insinuating. A decision being made on Manziel in 3 games wasn't going to happen no matter how bad he looked.

Granted haven't watched a vikings game since about wk 7/8, but I wasn't impressed the few times I've watched him.

Meanwhile, Teddy Bridgewater completed 70% of passes last three games. 300+ yards last two. 7-of-11 today for 118 and a TD. Vikes lead 17-7
Looks like I need to re-evaluate/watch a vikings game.

Derek Carr has shown some decent flashes, but one must wonder if he will ever get a fair shot given his first 4-5 years will be on the Raiders. It really makes me wonder sometimes how many "busts" would've had a completely different career had they started like Rodgers did in GB or Rivers in SD instead of getting the shit beat out of them in their first few years.

Highly doubt Farmer and Haslam are going to listen to Pettine.Pettine may know and may be right, but giving up on your first round pick after 3 games is unheard of.se-alum;1688356 wrote:I wouldn't be so sure about that. Pettine already hinted toward it being a big enough sample.

Bortles hasn't been good but still think he'll end up with the best career....but would not have wanted to be in need of drafting a QB last year.
I think Mariota will have a Jake Plummer type of career. Up in the air on Winston, not sure I'd want him but he may also wind up being pretty damn good

Manziel was a Haslam pick, and he's not going to leave Manziel out there to lose games for an entire season.Pick6;1688363 wrote:Highly doubt Farmer and Haslam are going to listen to Pettine.Pettine may know and may be right, but giving up on your first round pick after 3 games is unheard of.

So Manziel's injury is his hamstring? Not really sure how much Kuechly's hit has to do with that.

Strange that Hoyer seemingly has a pocket to stand in on every pass.

Holy crap... it's a shame we couldn't get a win last week. Looks like Baltimore may lose as Flacco is current 3/18 passing.

Strange that when you STAY in the pocket and step up, that there's protection.se-alum;1688372 wrote:Strange that Hoyer seemingly has a pocket to stand in on every pass.

Exactly. Hard for the line to give you a pocket when you're never where you're supposed to be. Unfortunately, it then makes the line look like they're playing horribly.Dr. KnOiTaLL;1688380 wrote:Strange that when you STAY in the pocket and step up, that there's protection.
