I kind of just interpreted your post, the contents of which I just said I found to be an assumption, as hoping he pans out in a great and immediate way. Hence my response.

If your expectations are lower than I interpreted, then sorry for attacking.
It's all good. We all want the same thing. Message boards sometimes suck in that the tone of a post could be misinterpreted. If anyone wants to pull the plug on Manziel after three starts, they're not that bright.

If we already talked about this, I must have glossed over it, but I really enjoyed Pettine's comments about Gordon finally being in game shape after 3 games. Seems like very convenient timing to give another reason why Gordon is going to do well this week, besides the fact he's much more excited for JFF than Hoyer.

Yeah, didn't get the whole "game shape" thing because he looked good against Atlanta, looks like crap against Buffalo, Johnny comes in/provides a spark and he seems excited again, then Hoyer starts against Indy and he goes back to looking like crap. I can understand some rust but he didn't seem to have much trouble getting on the same page with Hoyer last year.

I think where Gordon could excel this week is JFF's ability to freelance. His scrambling around back there is going to get some of these receivers wide open, one would think.

Gotta think it's the Hoyer vs. Campbell/Weeden and Manziel vs. Hoyer dynamics. Not surprised if a WR like Gordon would play harder for one quarterback than another.

Well, they dont hit in practice like they used to. They get like 15-16 during the season so maybe it took a couple of games to get back into the swing of things. Also, there is working out and staying in shape, and actually practicing with the team and getting all the timing and everything down.

I think it was combination of all those things when he said 'game shape'.

It's really sort of sad.
What IS sad is your absolute obsession with me. And...the fact I have never seen you post an opinion of what is actually happening on the field. I get it that you root for Pittspuke. Good for you. Where I come from, a big part of being a head coach is playing the best player that truly gives you the best chance to win. This isn't little league where you try to keep Mr. and Mrs. Hoyer happy.

If the Browns win there last 3. Manziel rocks and then miss the playoffs, it will be an ugly off season for Pettine.

It was announced on the animal house that originally the Browns/Bengals game would be shown in 16% oif the nationalmarhet. Bow, the bean counters are now going to show it in 46% of the market, including the entire state of Texas. Anybody know why?

Jogged my memory of a female caller from Texas to Ken Carmen before the Colts game who said the whole state of Texas just laugh their asses off at Pettine's utter stupidly.

Looking forward to the interview with Manziel's OC at 5:20 today on the Animal House.

Just for the lulz...If it went from 16% to 46%, what percent increase is that?

They were talking to one of the announcers who got moved to this game instead because they expect it to be the marquee game.

Usually I listen to the games on the radio, BUT for THIS game,.....I might just watch.

You see, my modus operandi is that I will just go outside and do some work while listening.

Because I can't stand watching a game and then we lose in the end and I have gotten nothing done.

Hopefully, that is now going to change.

Go Browns!

No calc. needed Turdy. Here's a simple way. 16 x 3 = 48. So to keep it simple for you ...almost a 300% increase in viewer share. Be here in 3 weeks and take your whoopin like the woman you are. And bring all your Hoyer toadies witcha...Shit and Ladies...Jfog, Saleum et al.

I was being quite facetious when I asked the question why. Apparently that went whooooosh...right over your head.

Notice he never responded to me pointing out the exact time during Manziel's presser that he said the time sitting greatly benefitted him and that not until recently did things really start clicking...

lol. Unreal I swear.

16 to 48 would be a 200% increase. You gotta keep the 16 you already had.
