So...we have a couple of Johnny naysayers. Shocking I tell ya...shocking.BR1986FB;1684770 wrote:Not really going out on a limb there. Wasn't meant to be a personal shot, just that it wouldn't surprise anyone, except for maybe three on here (Iggy, FW & Shook), if Manziel stunk up the joint.
92.3 was on NFL AM this morning and either Eric Davis or Lavar Arrington made a comment that Manziel could be destined to fail with the fans lofty expectations of him. Some are expecting some huge offensive output in his first game. It may happen, but odds are, he probably won't look stellar. And, of course, Booms douched up the broadcast yelling "Johnnnnnnnnnnny" at the top of his lungs, per usual.
I'm being conservative in my expectations of him. Yes, I'd love it if he "wrecked the league" in his first start but I expect there to be growing pains.
How many times a day do you jerk off to manziel?Footwedge;1684828 wrote:So...we have a couple of Johnny naysayers. Shocking I tell ya...shocking.
Yaeh, he's a fuckin rookie. Rookies are going to do stupid shit. But inspite of what you think, the guy has pretty much a rocket arm. The naysayers won't admit that. He's got an accurate arm. Again the naysayers won't admit that. The naysayers say he can't scramble. Yeah they really say that. We saw a glimpse of his inability to scramble on his touchdown run didn't we?
You, Shit and Ladies and all the rest of you people can bite your nails, fretting every moment of your life. Those of us that actually watched him play numerous games chant "ohhhhmmm" feeling the serenity of having an unbelievable talent running things for the Cleveland Browns.
Most rookies would struggle in their first 3 starts. Look at the garbage drafted around Manziel...especially the stiff, Blake Bortles. Bottom 5 in q'back ratings. Johnny gets 3 playoff contenders. With halfway decent defensive play, Manziel will get it done...Relax, enjoy the ride. You've never seen anything like it.
Here's what is the most likely scenario. The Browns run the table including a huge upset at Baltimore...but don't get in. This town will hang Pettine in effigy for wrecking the season because of his blatant stubbornness.
Must be a lot. What cracks me up is that I think he thinks that S&L, myself and others are looking for Manziel to fail. Quite the opposite. I'd love to see him throw for 500 yards, 6 TD's and run for 2 more but some of the expectations (run the table) are just not realistic.DeyDurkie5;1684834 wrote:How many times a day do you jerk off to manziel?
Running the table is realistic. Our defense and special teams(minus cuntdick) are playing at a high level. We just need some points off turnovers and we will win these games.BR1986FB;1684836 wrote:Must be a lot. I don't understand this either. Just leave the troll to rot and die by himself, a lonely soul collapsing into himself like a dying star.like_that;1684857 wrote:Why are you guys still responding to him? He is a fucking idiot troll. Quit feeding him.
I don't even understand how anybody could get thru 2 lines of his fluffed gibberish. No I dont. But you're too much of a dumbass to realize that because you're constantly an uptight twat.Commander of Awesome;1684823 wrote:This, lmao. Who is this guy? He legit thinks his dreams mean anything?

If the Browns run the table, they most likely do get in. They would finish at worst second in the division (ahead of the Ravens and loser of Steelers/Bengals game). To get a wildcard, they would need 4 of the following 5 to happen.Footwedge;1684828 wrote:

I agree with this. I think Manziel gives them a better chance of winning because he is unknown....not much tape. As for being a long term fix, I have my doubts...but I def like our chances the next threes weeks.Crimson streak;1684873 wrote:I might be against most but I think Manziel will do very well. Sort of like rgIII did. Teams don't really know how to prepare for him yet in the NFL or truly what he is even capable of. It will be interesting for sure
Agreed. I expect some mistakes, but overall more good than bad.wes_mantooth;1684878 wrote:I agree with this. Over a 16-game season -- even after eight games -- Manziel will hit the proverbial rookie wall as defenses adjust. But this three-game stretch can help him -- like it helped Hoyer early in the year -- because of that trusty element of surprise.wes_mantooth;1684878 wrote:I agree with this. They all had pretty good rushing attacks though, correct?BR1986FB;1684887 wrote:Over a 16-game season -- even after eight games -- Manziel will hit the proverbial rookie wall as defenses adjust. Look at quarterbacks with similar skill sets to Manziel's over their first three NFL starts in Russell Wilson, Colin Kaepernick and Robert Griffin III. They amassed more than 2,200 total offensive yards with 14 touchdowns and three interceptions.

When those guys came in the league, that whole style was very new. It's not new anymore, and only one of those three QB's are legitimate in the league. They may not have tape on Manziel, but they have played and watched plenty of tape on that style. I don't think the story changes for the Browns, they have to be able to run the ball like they did in the first game with the Bengals.BR1986FB;1684887 wrote:Over a 16-game season -- even after eight games -- Manziel will hit the proverbial rookie wall as defenses adjust. The Browns rushing attack, when they are on, is no slouch. They were #1 in the league before Mack went down. Obviously, he's a downgrade and will be making his second start, but I've heard solid things about Seymour at center.thavoice;1684894 wrote:They all had pretty good rushing attacks though, correct?
