Washing dishes by hand is BY FAR my least favorite chore. I refuse to do it.

Yeah you can definitely wash/dry dishes faster than a dishwasher but it only takes like 30 seconds to put them all in... My shitty dishwasher at our apartment normally takes like 45 minutes to complete it's cycle and I'm never in a hurry that I need them to get done fast anyway.
As for washing your clothes. I bet you could definitely wash them faster than a washing machine... now drying them would definitely take longer.

I used to be like this, but since living without a dishwasher for 3 yrs I don't mind it now. Sometimes I like it, esp if we're entertaining because I can get away from the party for a few minutes. Bingo!! Especially when the in-laws are at the house. I don't count the time the dish washer is doing its thing, because it is not "my" time. This might have been mentioned, but a big one of mine is when people add an S to the end of a word that it doesn't belong on.
