My sister passed away yesterday. She had left my dad a voice mail telling him happy birthday and that she loved him. He had been replaying the message and accidentally deleted it and then hung up. Is there anyway to get it back? I called verizon and explained the situation but they said it was gone for good. I looked online and found software to retrieve it from an iPhone, but this is an old Samsung flip phone.

My first guess would be to do what you exactly did, and call Verizon. Next would be Samsung.

I came in this thread to make a joke but really sorry to hear about that. Good luck retrieving it. In this day and age nothing is gone for good.

look for the trash .. Open it
it could be in there....
