Did you shop at local stores or order online?

Had ours done for about a week now. This is torture for a 13 year old.

My girlfriend has a crapload of gifts to wrap out in the family room. She's a procrastinator so I imagine she'll be wrapping until the wee hours of Christmas morning. I have a deal with her, "I buy it, you wrap it." I don't get involved with that crap, mofo. ;)

My decorations are mostly done. We still have a few things to get out, and we have no lights outside yet. Not sure if we will get to that.

I have about half of my gifts purchased. All but two have been purchased online. I know what I am getting almost everyone, I just need to order/shop for the stuff. Should get around to it later this week.

My mom used to carefully unwrap her presents, wear them, and then wrap them back up in the original paper. Don't be surprised if your kid tries to peek, lol.

My mom always had a rule, "if you see it, it goes back." That was to discourage our sneaking. We used to sneak downstairs on Christmas eve night and try to figure out what we got as well.

Only time we ever opened one was when we thought we got a Sega, and we did. Most animated, completely silent, celebration ever haha.

Shove your gifts in plastic shopping bags...saves lots of time and much cheaper. Local grocery store has a recycling bin for returned bags. I snag all I can and never wrap presents.

We used old newspaper one year, the next year we used some architectural prints, followed by brown butcher paper and wall paper (that does make great wrapping paper and cheap) now we just buy in bulk at Sam's

FYI - Your UPS surepost (UPS ground to ship items with the post office as final delivery to mailboxes) will take a couple extra days, these final weeks before Christmas.

Blame either UPS or USPS. Neither cares.
