Just curious as to where you're hearing this "supporting evidence". I'm not saying it's not out there, I just haven't seen it. Thanks.

Let me rephrase it. You can't sympathize for someone who is no longer living. On the contrary, you can't help but feel empathy for those who are left behind. That was my point. Not that I don't feel sorry for someone still living going through such severe depression.

Mostly them just saying they think he died on Friday. That's 2 days or a full day at least after he was reported missing. You'd figure if he killed himself that he wouldn't have wondered around for that long then did it.

But at the same time, the gun recovered is his gun.

Just be something I've ever heard of or even seen while studying, to climb in a trash bin, then shoot himself.

Why did a guy with depression history have a gun? C'mon...parents, siblings, friends...somebody knew this and just let it go on.

What are they supposed to do?

"I know you're a grown ass man, but you can't have a gun."

And when he tells them to fuck off, or hides it, then what?

Yeah, as concussions and awareness of their effects has been made more pronounced, in cases like this, peoples' brains have been studied to see how far their brains have been diminished by the concussions. It can be some scary stuff --- like a seemingly healthy person with the brain of an Altzeimer's patient due to all the damage.

The first I really heard about this going on was a few years back, when a pro wrestler killed his family and himself. He was late 30s, maybe early 40s, but I remember reading that his brain was messed up from a life of head trauma according to the results.

THe thing you have to remember about someone who commits suicide is that their thinking at the time is so distorted that they often think they are relieving loved ones of a burden. It is selfish from a healthy person's perspective, but someone who is suicidal is not healthy.

I feel like he climbed into a dumpster because he thought he was a piece of trash and not even worth cleaning up. That is heartbreaking.

It really is sad. I never thought about the side of relieving of loved ones burden before.

What's odd to me his how quickly his mind started to get fucked due to the concussions. I'm not an expert, but you always here about people with concussion issues (CTE) later on in life.

Were these concussions from high school? I don't know much about wrestling, but it doesn't seem like a sport where concussions are that common, though I guess I could be wrong.

Yeah if I had a family member with depression problems and knew he had a gun I'd do nothing...so fuck you dipshit and I'll move along when I damn well feel like it.

You're assuming his family was aware of his problems and that he owned a gun.

Sounds like his family was definitely aware of his problems. It's very possible they didn't know about the gun though.

Bingo. And if it was that easy, then there would be less suicides. Bottom line, if someone wants to committ suicide, there isn't much ANYONE can do. They will do it. The IDIOT above is an uneducated dolt. Putting this on family and friends, is beyond ridiculous and just flat out stupid. Shut the PIEHOLE TIERNAN!
