As an adult, he has every right to do what he wants, but it isn't going to help his career. Since the draft, how many cases has he exercised bad judgement? He doesn't learn from his mistakes. Manziel had every opportunity to take the starting job from a guy that played in only 2.25 games last year and tore his ACL under a different regime. The coaches and FO owed Hoyer nothing, yet Manziel couldn't beat him out for the starting job. Fran Tarkenton was very very good. I can see how Manziel could be compared to him.

So tell me why the FO and coaching staff with no ties to Hoyer wanted him to be the starting QB so badly?
