On the 3 pointer with 31 seconds left from the base line the reaction of the defender was priceless. You can't cover anyone any better.

All of that would have been meaningless had the Spurs not blown 2 free throws with 3 seconds left. Also, agree with Charles....when will the coaches ever learn regarding fouling up 3 in the final seconds?

Even the great Popavich is an idiot from time to time.

Where kyrie caught the ball there is no way to foul him. If they tried he was putting the ball up. And getting 3 free throws

Kyrie has no one near him. Impossible to foul. Hell, he was able to take a dribble.

This is what I was talking about earlier this year saying kyrie is elite and Love is not.

Kyrie can do things nobody in the NBA can do.

Anyone else agree a little bit with Barkley about having Love in the post some and feeding it to him....especially if LeBron or Kyrie isn't in the game.

He could if the coach knew how to use him.

Absolutely, you can't let Matt Bonnar or Boris Diaw guard him and not punish them on the block.

If they would actually practice what to do in that situation, then Kyrie would not have received the ball wide open like that. Again...bad coaching. A pick was the reason Kyrie came open. First of all. all 5 guys need to be at the arc...they didn't go that. Secondly don't guard the frickin inbounder...play 5 on 4 at the arc. You switch all screens and foul as the receiver tries to catch the ball. You have no bigs..and 5 of qickest quicks on the floor there. That is what Barkley was talking about. You and Laley just don't understand that.

Just took another look at the buzzer beater 3. The defense was even worse than I thought. 4 guys standing at the free throw line. Why? Again, you need all 5 guys on the arc line and you deny any pass inbounds. All picks are switched and the receiver gets fouled as soon as he is touching the ball. Game, set, match.

Ah the village idiot has decided to chime in to say "bad coaching".

Sometimes the best coaches get outcoached on individual plays. Blatt's inbounds play was better than Pop's inbounds defense. It happens. Not sure it will happen again, but it happened last night. That's not a knock on Pop it's a compliment to Blatt.

Being able to come to that conclusion requires high level thinking though, something we all know footwedge completely lacks.

This is absolutely beautiful coaching by Blatt. If Leonard is able to react a split second sooner he's able to get out on Kyrie but the execution from the Cavs was perfect.

100% agree, just like I agree that LeBron should be using the post up more.

Should've been in the game instead of James Jones who was getting destroyed anytime he gets stuck downlow. Not to mention his shot not falling last night. Was a poor decision not having him on the floor. But we won, and thats All I care about.

Yes 100%. Even when LeBron and Kyrie are in the game, a few sets out of the post would be nice.

I'm a big believer of the fouling prior to the shoot when up 3. The play the Cavs ran out of the TO was a beauty. Kyrie was so open there was no one near him to foul.
