It's always a negative spin with Cleveland. I tuned in, figuring it was safe but no. First they are talking about Winston and his crab legs, then the confetti. Are they really THAT desperate to find something to talk about when it should be right in front of their eyes?

Love could have a career game and then they ESPN pundits would talk about how it's him auditioning to leave.

If the league would've told the Cavs "if you beat them by 30, the series is over and you can move on to the 2nd round" in last night's game, the Cavs would've turned it up and beat them by 30-40. I think they realize that the Celts are overmatched and frankly don't have a player talented enough to start for the Cavs. They could have a letdown and lose one in Boston but I'm still expecting a sweep.
The bolded. These teams are night and day.

Sounds like a bunch of sour grapes from Kobe $30M/yr Bryant fans. I'll remember Kobe's legacy as taking an albatross contract over a chance to put together a championship level roster.

So let's recap the last few days:

1) Cleveland is a dead and dying dump. Why would anyone in their right mind go there for any reason other than to die?
2) Cleveland is a pathetic sports town, and celebrates even the lowliest of victories to find some semblance of hope.
3) It's confirmed. Kevin Love is leaving the Cavs to head to the Los Angeles Lakers, where he can take over as "the man" in a large market as Kobe rides off into the sunset.
4) LeBron James has gotten lucky on his way to 5 NBA finals, barely sneaking by the pathetic opponents offered by the Eastern Conference.
5) The Cavs are in trouble! They've only beaten the Celtics by an average margin of 10.5 ppg! They should be winning by 876359792351 points!

/media everywhere but Cleveland

It's past the point of ridiculous. The reality is, we have Lebron James and a very good chance at winning a championship. I don't think anyone has a chance against the Cavs this year except for Golden State but even they can't really match up well against the core + role players. Who's going to guard Lebron on the Warriors? Green? Barnes? LOL. He will average 35 points a game at worst.

They may be in "coast" mode, as I mentioned earlier, because it's Boston, but they are going to have to play much better than they are against Boston in the next round. 18 turnovers isn't going to cut it against Chicago. JR Smith needs to get his ass ramped up too. If he doesn't get it going it's going to be Kyrie & Lebron trying to force the issue.

People don't understand that Boston had the 4th best record in the league since the all star break. It's not about your record but how you're playing going into the playoffs and Boston was one of the hottest teams in the league and playing better than almost anyone.

Boston beat a bunch of trash the last couple months of the season. Sure they were playing pretty well but if you think they are close to a top tier team you're crazy.

No they aren't close to top tier but they were playing hard and together at a somewhat high level. It's all about how you're playing entering the playoffs. A team could get off to a hot start in the first half of the season but it doesn't mean anything if you aren't playing at a high level entering the playoffs.

4th best record in the league; going to get swept in the first round. Such a stupid argument.

My point was that whoever they are playing they are going to have to clean up the turnovers.

You're missing what I'm trying to say. Pundits are criticizing the Cavs because they are only winning by X amount of points in the first few games, but they fail to realize that the Celtics have been playing really well. That's all I'm trying to say. Hell the Warriors have been struggling with the injured Pelicans if we use that logic, they could have very easily lost that game the other night if Anthony Davis did anything in the 4th quarter.

Still don't really understood why OC members bash the media stories then go on to argue about it lol

They're not "real" stories. They're made up stories spun off as "news" by the media. It's incredibly stupid to even put 1/100th of an effort in trying to discuss/argue it.

yea and they also only made the playoffs because the Cavs literally gave them two wins at the end of the season because they wanted to play them lol. I really don't put any thought at all into us only beating them by 10 a game. I havent been worried yet.

lol at "us"

Since when did you start repping yourself as a Cavs fan? Didn't you just tell like_that that you were 10x the Cavs fan that he was since you've been to a few cavs games even though you're not a cavs fan?

You're pathetic and your obsession with me is weird. Is it so hard to act like an adult and have an actual discussion? Also, show me a link where I said I'm not a cavs fan. Just more bs where you have nothing to back it up.

Commander of Awful is a despicable POS that really thinks he knows something about sports. Don't let his juvenile antics bother you. Just lump him with the rest of the garbage here with LH Shemp, Lunatic. and Like Shat.

I'm curious: why do the people that have said legitimately stupid things on here always band together and back each other up?

Iggy and FW come to each other's defenses all the time and now FW is coming to Pick's defense. All 3 of you have said shockingly un-intelligent things on here so there must be something that magnetizes you guys to each other. Although Pick does appear to know how to do basic math which should place him above FW's paygrade but apparently not.

If you're going to group the people who call you out together, then I'm grouping all of the morons together.

Also, inb4 one of those 3 endeavors to call me an idiot even though I have the grades, the degrees, and the job that say otherwise.

nobody gives a fuck that you're a lawyer. LOL at being out of school and talking about grades. You aren't even a year into your career. Get over yourself.

Please try and use your advanced stats again to suggest Joakim Noah is a top 3 player in the league.

This is the exact post I tried to pre-empt. Please pick, tell me all about your awesome education and job. In fact, while I wait to hear about that, I'll think about how I'm already at a spot in the career "food-chain" you'll never attain.
