Maybe not on on here (didn't go back a few pages) but I had seen an ESPN article recently and Chris Grant came out defending Blatt not long ago.

It's a wash trade but I think we end up coming out on top. Waiters didn't want to play here and wasn't meshing with the team. JR isn't any better but he will demand the ball less and won't have the chemistry issues. Shumpert is a good depth piece and can help give us another defender.

I believe the Shump will probably start at SG for us and defend the opponent's best perimeter player night in and night out. Not to mention, he's an unselfish offensive player. JR will provide better shooting than we got from Dion, as well. We need floor spacers, and Dion just clogged the lane. JR almost has to be defended anywhere inside half-court, so I like both additions.

We also are receiving something like a $4.1Mil trade exception in this deal as well, which gives us a lot of leverage to trade for a big. We'll see what happens, I guess.

I hope a big Id still a target. Dion was our best piece, so I had hoped to get a big for him. He's trash though, so glad to get rid of him. Like shumpert, and JR is a better waiters.

I've heard rumored Koufos, Mozgov, and Hibbert. Obviously, I'd prefer the latter, but we could do a lot worse than the other two as well.

Koufous doesn't do anything for me, but I still remember his time at OSU. I'd prefer mozgov based on previous seasons (haven't watched a nuggets games once this season).

Hibbert would be perfect for the Cavs. Mozgov 2nd best. Koufos would do more harm than good lol

I know he sucks, but fuck he has to be better than what we have (nothing) at Center.
Haha that video is great. It's mid-afternoon at the RPAC so the far left court still has mediocre white guys on it. I'd like to see what Oden would do on that same court at like 8 at night, that's a better test to see if he's still got it.

Yeah that court is typically where all the big black dudes play at. I've played on that court a few times but had to stop because the physicality of the game was too rough on me. To be fair though, Oden would dominate on that court regardless of if its mid afternoon or late at night; he was the #1 pick for a reason even with his injury history.

I know. I just found it completely hilarious the article was using a video from THAT court at THAT time.

Damn, that vid makes me miss the RPAC. Awesome awesome gym.

I'm assuming Oden is still dealing with his legal problems?

edit: Just read further...plea deal. I'm surprised no one has picked him up.

Sounds like the deal for Mozgov is done behind closed doors and just awaiting the formal announcement.

2 firsts headed to Denver, and possibly another piece.

Memphis pick and OKC Pick(Twitter)

Didn't want to part with that Memphis pick, but this fills a big hole.

I agree.

Wish we could've given up our pick instead of that Memphis pick.

Very steep. I don't think he's worth that but the Cavs are desperate for some big men.

W/Out a center our chances of winning even a round in the playoffs is about 0. With a center our chances of winning an NBA Championship are legit. 2 1sts is nothing. Esp considering we've been going after Mozgov for some time.
