I saw tweets that he left the arena on crutches. If it is actually only a bone bruise he was being a dramatic *****.

Also, it seemed like the Hawks were content with letting delly take wide open 3 pointers. He had a whopping 0 points, can idiots like FW settle down about him now? Anyway, if they keep doing that, and delly hits his shots, the game will be a blow out.

to be fair to Korver, He obviously fell for a ball fake and is trying to avoid fouling

He's putting the team on his back and will continue to do so. Agreed overall that if Love/Irving were healthy it would be too much but Lebron has to play this way if the Cavs are going to win a championship.

Korver looked like a bitch last night, but the reality is Lebron James is a big dude that most players in the league don't want to get in the way for a charge. I can't say I blame him because if he tries to take the charge he "may" get the charge call but either way he's going to get his ass knocked out.

Nah he would have gotten a block call and a head ache.
He was no where near in position.

There's a difference between "putting the team on your back" and neutering the offense. Yes, he's the greatest player in the league but even you, a known Lebron nuthugger, should be able to see that it kills the offense when he's standing out at the arch, "killing ants" with his dribble for about 15 seconds and then hoisting an ill advised shot. This team is most effective with ball movement. It's great if he's hitting shots but his outside shooting has been shit since the Chicago series.

If you looked at that article, he was off the court and the scrubs had built the lead up to 18. When he came back, he didn't need to "put the team on his back." All they needed to do was continue what they were doing but he went into "eat the clock and then hoist a jumper before the shot clock expires" mode.

Don't get cocky. I'm sure bulls fans were thinking about a sweep after the first game in Cleveland last series as well. How'd that work out for them?

I caught about 5 minutes of BSPN at lunch and Screamin A. Smith was saying the same thing...."no Carroll = Cavs sweep."

If Carroll is out the rest of the series (he is not) along with thabo being out, I don't think it'd surprise anybody at all if the Cavs swept. I think the Cavs would sweep due to the injury more than anything.

Even if he does play tomorrow night, but is limited, Lebron will dice him up like a Ginsu.

The Cavs probably won't get an 8 3-point performance like that from JR or anyone else.

Without that, they may not have won last night.

We aren't sweeping the Hawks. It'll be a competitive series.

Watch LeBron's post-game press conference. He admitted it was too much iso and that he needs to do a better job of moving the basketball, and vowed to do much better in game 2. Yes, it was a problem, but at least he's also agreeing and saying that he recognized that it's a problem. Hopefully, he makes the change and we drop the hammer in game 2.

We're also not going to be 0-fer for the rest of the bench. I'm not guaranteeing a sweep, mainly because I think Carroll is completely fine, but I'm comfortable with us resting Kyrie, and that should say something.

Yeah I agree; I'm just not worried if the best player in the league decides to put the team on his back for a stretch. We won the game so criticism is pointless.

1) I'm actually ok with milking the clock iso up 18 in the 4th.
2) I'd rather have a 85% Irving for game 3 than a 75% Irving for game 2.
