I love the 1950's setting. I liked the 1960's setting for the Asylum series. It's really well written.

Love the first season and first half of the second season. Otherwise, they have been ehh ok.
This season has been ok, the murder clown and copy cat are scary as hell though.

This show is good but being made by the creator of Glee hurts it sometimes. This season could be so much darker than it is. Jessica Lange singing?

She's not a bad singer but I don't think it's necessary. It just doesn't fit my vision of what the season was going to be.

I'm assuming all this performing is something she dreamed of doing big in Germany. I hope they do the character backstories like they normally do.

I'm (very) quickly losing interest in this season. It's just not doing it for me. I am not getting the "horror" aspect of it, and the whole "freak show" thing has lost it's luster.

Agreed. This season has some moments, but is just meh overall.

This season had potential but it falls to third in my list now. It's just nowhere near as dark as I thought it was going to be. The clown was one of the best parts and he's gone now.

I really hated what they did to ma petite to kill her off. Terrible. Anyways this season definitely is very average. I think the "Freak Show" creepiness has worn out. I will still watch though. Just disappointed that this is Jessica Lange's last season.

I have seen a lot of people complaining about it but I'm not sure what the overall vibe is. Two complaints I keep seeing; not dark enough, and the singing. I still watch but I'm definitely disapointed.

I actually enjoy the singing. I like the choice of songs.

It's ok, it just doesn't fit the idea a lot of people had about the show from the previews. I thought I was the only person who thought like this, so it was nice to read the multitude of people agreeing.
