I don't think anyone is getting "cocky." We all know we are dealing with the Browns here. If they take care of their business, they SHOULD beat these teams.

Not saying I "GUARANTEE" or that they "ARE" going to take care of business. Just saying, if they play like they're capable, they should be in real good shape going into Cincy.

Very excited so far. But where is this top 10 defense that we were promised? Joe Haden had his usual 2 or 3 holding calls AGAIN last week. Pettine needs to take over the defense and let Einstein have 100% control of the offense.

Injuries do suck and losingMack isgonna hurt.

They have a stretch against teams they should beat. In reality though, its the NFL and you lose some you shouldnt, and steal a few as well. I will say they go 2-1 in the next three before teh bengals on Thursday night. Been to prime time games in Cincy and they have that place rocking. If they go 2-1 which they should, that game in Cincy will be very telling about the direction of the franchise and if they are ready for the big time because they have a tough back half

So, you're saying that when asked, it's only 55-51 in favor of a 2014 first-round draft pick being the starter two years later? When you consider that first-round QBs aren't usually drafted to ride the pine for that long, the fact the margin is that close for two years down the line seems to say more about how favorably people feel about Hoyer than anything else.

Actually it's pretty remarkable that even with Hoyer's 99.5 qbr....that a slight majority of the fanbase still envision Manziel as the starting quarterback 2 years from now. Kojak handed the job to Hoyer....was not earned as is so touted around here.

Manziel did not earn it either, they both sucked in preseason. Hoyer at least showed he COULD do it in the NFL last season. Manziel has proven nothing in the NFL yet as his preseason sucked.

And FYI, I am a Manziel fan, I hope he becomes the next Randall Cunningham/John Elway/Steve Young. However, he was the wrong choice for THIS SEASON. Next season or the year after he very well could/should be the starter.

Manziel showed over the summer that 1) he is not very smart and 2) he is poor decision maker. Hopefully he gets his priorities in order and is willing to work harder, but do you really want the guy who doesn't understand an NFL playbook and chooses to spend the summer partying instead of learning the playbook to lead your team? We would be 1-4 (at best).

Crowell and West won't be getting any more carries if they can't do the little things. Crowell fucked up two pitches and fumbled last week. I believe he also fucked up a pitch play against the ravens or saints in a crucial time as well. Same shit with West. He fucked up a few plays by going the wrong way, which both turned out to be costly. They both look great running the ball, but until they do all the little things, they won't be taking any carries away from Tate.

Based on Manziel's incredible wonderlic test score I'd be careful in labeling him not very smart. Yeah the guy was so stupid that he outplayed Hoyer in 4 exhibition games and the Akron scrimmage. Kojak kowtowed to the Jaworskis and Essiasons of the world. This team would most likely be 5-0 right now if they played Manny Ramirez instead of Wayne Kirby.

One can do well on standardized test and not be that smart. For example, don't you claim to have scored high on the SAT?

Do you guys think Cameron resigns with us at the end of the year or do we tag him?

What about Jabal Sheard? Does he resign or walk?

Rubin, resign or walk?

Hoyer they let play out til the end of the year, worse case senerio is he doesn't resign, we tag him or let him walk.

I'd be surprised if we let Rubin go. Sheard doesn't even start I'd eventually cut ties with either him or Mingo.

I can see the chances of them re-signing are in this order (from highest to least).

Cameron, Rubin, Hoyer, Sheard.

According to the weekly Dicks Sporting Goods report, Hoyer beat Manziel in jersey sales this week for the first time. Hoyer 6th, JFF 11th.
