I was at the game. Probably 40% Hawks fans there. We had no business getting a point, let alone two, but we will take it. Last nine games, 17 out of a possible 18 points. Amazing turnaround.

Kinda sucks getting Toronto right after they fire their coach teams always seem to play better that first game. Anyone going Saturday vs the islanders.

I will say I didn't fully expect the Wings to be this good this season. I think this definitely is a team that could compete for the Stanley Cup, just a great puck moving team with a ton of playmakers. Combine that with a great PK and you have a team that could win it all.

Also disappointed that it looks like the Bruins and Canadiens at Foxboro for next seasons winter classic. IMO we should put it in either Minnesota or Colorado and then Columbus against either PIT/DET/CHI

I really wanna see a classic in Columbus. I would love it to web in the Shoe against either Det or Pitt.

Well, whatever slim chance they had at the playoffs just shit the bed last night. Lost 4-0, lost Bob.

I'll be at Fan Fest tomorrow. Should be a good time. I can't justify spending $200+ for tickets for the All-Star game or skills competition. We did go skate on the outdoor rink last Sunday. Pretty good time.

It's a shame Columbus's season has went this badly. They are a playoff talent team but those injuries at the beginning of the season were fatal

Hearing a lot do good things about columbus coming from the national media. Skills was entertaining esp Johansen with the Brax jersey.

Columbus is a great city that's used to hosting major events, no reason this should have been any different

Bob out 4-6 weeks it's offically time to tank and call this season a loss. I have to think Richards job is in major danger. He wasn't the choice of the GM or Team President so even a season of injuries could cause him to be out the door.

my only real complaint about him is that boll should be scratched almost every night

Richards is safe. Chalk this season up to injury. That's not his fault. They just gave him an extension before the season. They could have cut him lose if they wanted.

No way could they have cut Richards loose after last season. The fans would have exploded this year no one will care. They also couldn't have let him be a lame duck coach had to give him more then 1 year.

That said the CBJ played great tonight. If they didn't have letdowns right after they scored (Goal Goal Penalty on shifts following goals) they could have crushed Washington. Ovi had something like 15 shot attempts and the CBJ and Curtis really stepped up blocking those shots. Anyone hear how much longer until Murray is back?

He's skating now. So is Anisimov. If I were to guess, they'll both be back next week.

How the fuck did Columbus not have insurance on Horton. We knew coming in he wasn't healthy and they still didn't spend the money for it. I believe the insurance is 5% of the contract now because we were cheap and stupid the blue jackets had to trade Horton for the worst contract in hockey and probably in sports. It's hard to be a fan these days. We were going to buy season tickets next year and this stupidity might prevent me from doing so. It they trade James Wiznewski and get shit for him they can GFT.
