Yeah, Horizon is in. Payout is updated per last post. Scoring updated for 1.5 per block and per steal. The only thing we really need to finalize is, criteria for adds/drops. Need to post link to injury/suspension? Limited to maybe 2 or 3 per YEAR? Make it so the PPG for the guy you add is within like a 5% range of who you're dropping? I'm open for anything, again, with the idea to really limit the subs. Who you draft should be the foundation of how well you do.

If someone else can get it to post larger, that would be great. No clue why it does that for me sometimes.

Anyway, the order is (Double check with the picture posted, if you can read it lol)

1. Pick6
2. Turtles
3. Laley
4. AZ
5. Goon
6. S&L
7. Rec
8. Wizurhd
9. Birddog
10. Mulva
11. Terry
12. OhioBucks

I know. As soon as I typed that I just felt awful. We coerce the guy into playing, and he draws the last draft spot on a random list generator lol.

Oh well. In all honesty, this is about finding breakout players in the later rounds who pay-off and having your WILDCARD duplicate or surpass last year. Drafting position matters, but as in all fantasy, it is about depth and luck.

I had the 12th pick last year and ran a train pretty much the entire regular season. Don't think the order matters so much when the team/player pool is so deep... it will definitely come down to who does the best job of identifying breakout guys.

Edit: Makes having 3 bench spots pretty interesting. It's basically a built in license to take a big risk or 2 on a freshman/transfer/someone who did jack shit last year.

The last pick isn't bad at all. This is why I like college fantasy so much. There's much more left to be determined compared to the NBA. In the pros, you can generally determine if a player is improving or regressing, and then go based on past performance. In college, especially with wild cards, there are going to be guys we have really never heard of who impact the results of this league.

I'll have the draft thread up today. We're going to start the draft with a 12-hour clock on Friday at 8 PM. No clock between 12-8 AM. I'm prone to really allow people some time to do some research early given those are the most important rounds. However, as we get further in, the pick times will get shorter if we come up on time. I hope we don't, given that we have four full weeks to complete the draft.

Damn good thing I have tomorrow off from work. Going to have to do research all day. When did we start drafting last year? I'm too lazy to look it up lol. But either we are drafting like 1-2 weeks earlier from last year or ESPN is super slow getting their previews out this year. Which sucks because it was one of the few times have insider was actually a benefit.

Yeah, I was gonna say, it couldnt have been much more before this year. A week sounds about right.

Im surprised ESPN doesnt have anything out yet, considering the teams have started practices and reporters are already watching the teams.

They have the ACC and PAC 12 out right now... Just last year when we started drafted they had all the conferences haha. Really helped in the middle/later rounds. Although I guess it don't know how much it helped since my team was terrible.

This is why the order is so helpful.

Ive identified my top 3, and then can pretty much eliminate a ton of guys and not even both researching cause I know they wont be there at 20...

Wut wut. #1 pick. I honestly don't know jack about college bball this season. I'm trying to register on fantrax but it appears its down for at least right now. I'll try again later tonight.

Can we start the draft Sunday to give me some time Saturday to research?

Honestly, I'm indifferent to people picking right away. Considering we're paying $40 to enter this thing, I'm not going to forcefully skip people on picks in the first few rounds. As long as people don't complete tune out, we shouldn't have any issues getting it finished.

Yeah I'm cool whenever but I definitely think we should start by Monday. The sooner the better Pick6 makes his pick so I can quit waffling about who I want to take with mine.
Also Azu are we to paypal you the $40 again? Is it the same email as last year?

Im ok with Pick taking longer, but I would prefer he make it as soon as he knows...

Id be surprised if it took him until Monday to find someone he likes at #1.
