Figured I'd leave this here in case you kids wanted to listen to some rap when it was good.

Hope this helps. Seriously.

Just coming on here to find this thread.

Lil Dicky is going to be at Bunbury this year. I hate to drop that money, but I probably will just to see his set. Super pumped about it.

Holy Shit Bunbury is awesome this year. I'm going to at least one day of this fest. I'm hoping The Avett Brothers and The Decemberists are the same day.

Doesn't look too expensive. $65 for the day. Could be worse.

It's a lot to drop when you really only want to see one act. He'll probably only do a 30-45 min set. If he falls on the same night as The Black Keys or Snoop Dogg, I might be able to justify that more to myself.

Plus, I don't have the luxury of just buying one ticket. I'd have to bring the wife, too. So $130 gets steep just to go see 1-2 acts.

I'm interested in seeing all 3 headliners, OCMS, and Lil Dicky. I might spring for a 3-day pass.

If damn Dave Matthews wasn't on Friday I'd do this but I've already committed to going to DMB. It looks like The Black Keys will be Friday too so at least I won't have to miss Snoop Dogg.

Yeah from what I worked out Keys are Friday Avett on Saturday Snoop on Sunday. The Decemberists ( My Favorite band on the lineup) will also be Saturday.

The Bunbury lineup is awesome for the price. There are a ton of acts that are awesome live. The Avett Brothers are the only group I've waited at Bonnaroo to be in the pit for and their live show is really good. 21 pilots are from Columbus and while I'm not a huge fan of their music they put on one of the most engertic shows I've seen. Snoop is one of the best live rap performers there is. You can go 9-10 lines down on that lineup poster and there isn't a bad act.

IfIf there are enough OC'ers that would go the day Lil Dicky is playing, I'd be down. That would get me out of having to bring my wife, too...so it saves me $70.

Bunbury will be great exposure for LD.

I really think it's only a matter of time before one of two things happens. 1: LD drops a very radio friendly single and blows up. 2: An already established musician works with him and he blows up.

I agree 100%. I think his upcoming album will have a single on there that sends him mainstream.

LOL @ that track.

That hook is just really, really bad. So out of place.

But as usual, Dicky's flows are consistent, comical and obvious.

Seriously hoping he takes a bit of a serious turn, but I don't think he loves music, it's just his eventual way to get into comedy. Good for him, and more power to him, but I would love to see him make a serious attempt at rap.

I am on the Tweet machine. And ya, LD seems to interact with fans quite a bit, which is refreshing to see.

My buddy gave me a head's up as he was coming out of work this morning that LD was on his way in to do the Sway morning show, so I was able to catch it this morning.

They premiered a new song "Save That Money," which was pretty funny. New album is coming out end of July. LD said about half of it is funny, and half is serious, but it's all great quality. Said there's a ton of features on the album. One that he revealed was Snoop. Snoop interviews LD as if it's corporate America on the track "Professional Rapper."

Super stoked for this album now. And with LD and Snoop on the same day at Bunbury this weekend, you guys will have to let me know if he does any of the new stuff.

Just listened to the new single, I dig it. Very mainstream kind of song.

Cannot wait for Professional Rapper.
