Week 4 is highlighted by Massillon vs. St. John's (ON). Massillon has 9 national championships. This has established us as best program in the United States. We were looking for a bigger challenge and decided to take on a Canadian powerhouse for the title of best program in North America. I see the Tigers rolling to another easy victory for the 4th week in a row. We should get done very early with the new continuous clock rule in Ohio. The only thing that will keep people there longer is having to sit through two national anthems.

How many national championships does your team have? I know it is less than 9.

We have won three state championships since the playoffs began. We won the state in 1972, then we won two state championships in the offseason between the 2012 and 2013 seasons when we decided that we have 24 state titles instead of 22 state titles.

Our 1972 title was 42 years ago. I'm not sure how you want to count the two state titles that we picked up 2 offseasons ago, but those are also recent.

Last "national title" for Massillon was 1961

We are the most dominant program in high school history. You can't magically pick a year and try to only count championships from that year on (Steelers' fan do that all of the time). You have to look at the entire history, and no one has matched our 9 national championships.

You WERE the most dominate program. Now you are just on the schedule.

We ARE the most dominant program in high school history. That will not change until someone gets to that 10th national championship before we do. It is very unlikely that will ever happen.

What are you talking about?

Massillon hasn't won the fictitious national title since 1961.

I'm not magically picking a year. 1961 was the last time Massillon was the "best team in the country."

You are right because National championships are all up for debate. How about you try and win a state championship....

The current players fathers weren't even born yet the last time Massillon won a supposed national title.

If you look at the history of high school football, Massillon is the greatest.

We are going to destroy a Catholic school this weekend. I can't see St. John's hanging with us. It is also a good game because it gives us more publicity in Canada. We had several kids from Canada try out at our combine this past winter. We truly are becoming an international program.
