Pittsburgh fans think football started in 1974.

Did I see Massillon is clashing with Big Red this week.

Isn't that the irresistible force meeting the immovable object as far as Ohio High School football goes?

I hope the fans are relentless on the rape enablers, as Steubenville insulated themselves by scheduling 9 home games and this one away game

But back to sarcastic thread, yes, this is like Greek gods battling

Saw on Twitter that the place was erupting with boo's every time Richmond's name was called.

I was at the Massillon-Steubenville game. Daytona Beach Mainland would beat them both by 40-7 scores.

That is very true. Iggy's only focuses on neohio. We had kids from multiple states tryout at our combine.

I can't speak for Big Red, but we would destroy Daytona. We are too physical for that soft football.

I don't have time to list all 1,400 kids that tried out for Massillon at our combine this year, but here is a link. It is nice to see that we have now invited junior high kids to tryout out as well. http://www.studentsports.com/blog/2014/02/15/massillon-nike-combine-recap/

As the article states, "The fourth Nike Football SPARQ Combine of the 2014 tour took place Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Paul L. David Athletic Center in Massillon, Ohio as over 1,400 athletes from 14 states, the District of Columbia and even Ontario, Canada showed up to test and compete." The future looks very bright.

Wow, that gets me excited, I mean, kids from 14 states tried out to be Massillon Tigers and not one of them made the team. We have a couple of transfers, but they're all pretty local kids. That tells me that you were right all along, Massillon IS the best location in the nation.

You were right.

They were, but since Massillon is the best in north America, as my esteemed colleague al bundy says, not one kid from those 14 different states could make the team.

They all have at least some interest in Massillon football, or they wouldn't come in for a tryout. It is a like a job interview. Would you go through trouble of going to a job interview if you didn't at least have some interest in working for that company?

Everyone wants to be a Massillon Tiger, you can't blame those kids for traveling across the country to try....just a shame they're not good enough.

Its funny, Massillon has been holding this try out, er, I mean combine, for several years now, I've seen some kids that were here playing and contributing for D1 colleges currently, but they couldn't make the team in Massillon.

Maybe those kids are good enough to play for Penn state, Nebraska, Notre dame and Ohio State, but they're not quite good enough to be Tigers.

Maybe if Massillon started handing out "scholarships" like the parochial do, we'd get some better kids to our tryouts. What do you think about that Al? Did I do good Al?

Do you think our problem was with talent evaluation or player development? All of our kids on scholarship. We have even created jobs for parents of several players.

Probably both, the scholarship athlete at the parochial is 6'4" 240, we can't developed that, you can't developed height. Yeah, we can developed weight, but that 240 would not be good on 5'10". We can only developed the kids who try out.

Furthermore, there are only so many jobs to go around, whereas the monies the parochials have seems to be endless.

Weather Channel did a special on Massillon this morning and touted all of their state championships.
Amazing isnt it? Massillon making the weather channel?!?!?!??!??

They failed to recognize the fact they were just paper championships tho...

Yes, I was. Sect 3 Row A seat 27. = 45 yd line behind Tiger bench. A player's mom (I think) sat 2 seats over and got arrested because of the dooshbag Massillon guy in a white hat on the sideline walked back and forth telling people to sit down and she backtalked him, fed into his antagonizing her until he called the cops to throw her out. Then she got so mad she lost it and resisted, then when the deputy came back in to take her flip flops I told him why it never should have happened. No one around or behind her complained. She was just cheering for the team.

Did you go and bail your wife out after the game or immediately after she was detained?
