Looked like Franklin did exactly what Lang did for Green Bay....but no call

Can't believe refs didn't throw a flag on Franklin, that combined with the shoddy tackling.....glad I'm not a Colts fan bacause I'd be losing my mind

I wonder if we are watching Manning's last game of his career.

Wouldnt surprise me. 2nd straight year of tanking 2nd half of the season (compared to normal Manning standards).

Peyton's arm is a noodle, and Adam Gase continues to greatly underwhelm.

Amazing. Colts couldn't run the ball all year and if they run like this, they probably have a shot to win it all. Their passing game is nasty if they run like this.

Exactly, I think his age has finally caught up to him. I am not the least bit surprised with this game at all. The Colts are going to be the class of the AFC soon imo.

Mannings arm went from average to horrible at a snap if the fingers around week 8. It's unreal how much he has lost just this season alone.

Manning really needs to retire.

He has just never been able to answer the bell when it mattered most. Only reason he even has a Super Bowl is because he had the luxury of playing opposite Rex Grossman.

He is done though, and he should go out while he still has an ounce of dignity left.

I say he plays next year to pass Farve in career yards and one last go.....but his arm is terrible.

How many QB's would you take over him right now in a playoff game assuming a slightly above average offensive line and weapons vs a good defense?

He's slipping fast

We will see. I am not sure his body can handle a 17 week season. I would still take him over many NFL QBs, because he is a smart QB.

Oh he's the smartest....but he was struggling to throw it 40 yards and just looked terrible.

I still think he can dink and dunk it to a 10-6 record for that team.....but today reminded me of the stories of how Willie Mays held on way too long and was hard to watch finishing up his career.

That being said...Patriots had them beat and I think 2-3 iffy pass interferences were called on the final drive to give them the win.....I was rooting for them that game but it seemed very shady.

Dont play that game, unless you want to remember the back to back years where Marvin Harrison was essentially strangled by Ty Law, and it was deemed legal.

I don't know what specific year you are referring to but I'm not disagreeing.....just saying the year he did win one the last drive for Indy to take the lead and the final chance for the Patriots seemed incredibly poorly called and each call favoring Indy. It's been a long time...I could be misremembering (I did this on the Kirk Gibson HR believe Eck got squeezed on the 2-2...but I was wrong)

Maybe I should re-watch it.

You gotta be. There was a 15 yard roughing the passer penalty that helped the Colts get 15 yards...but it was a 1st down catch anyway. Then they ran it 3 times for the go ahead TD. The drive for the Pats was like 20 yard completion. 15 yard completion. Interception.

I'll have to find it and re-watch because my sporting memory usually isn't that far off. I believe you but for my sanity I have to see what I'm thinking of......

Moving on

ESPN guys think he's done. Hoge said 30%, Waddle 15% and Edwards 50/50 on him returning

Manning is my favorite QB of all time, but if he doesn't have an injury that will get better with some rest, it's time to hang it up.
