Scioto and Olentangy for smallmouth bass, Alum Creek Reservoir for crappie, largemouth and small Muskies, Hoover Reservoir for saugeye, crappie & channel cats...all good Central Ohio fishing locations.

All (somewhat) near Central Ohio and have some type of striped beasts!
Kiser Lake*, Deer Creek, East Fork, Brookville, Charles Mill, Buckeye & Seneca.
*Supposedly Kiser is only stocked with male stripers but theirs a hell of a lot in there.

Took my new rig out to Miami Whitewater Forest yesterday for a few hours. I didn't catch much, but that reel is very nice.

*Justin my next recommendation is getting a 6.6 foot length rod. Plus pick up a couple RatL trap lures. Guarantee a longer rod and those lures you'll have a blast casting halfway across the lake.
Fishing is fun and so is shopping for the tackle!

A $75 6'6 foot bionic blade fishing rod is a lot cheaper than a boat.

I have 6 pound test on the Sienna reel. I caught that guy with a 2" Storm Wildeye.

Have you tried crappie fishing with live minnows? imo- live minnows work best.

Weather looks decent tomorrow and my wife has to work all day so I'm heading out and looking for some fishing spots within a short drive of our house.

Got my first of three monthly tackle box subscriptions. All this was only $5, though it's $15 normally.

With this cool weather it's a great time to crappy fish but man-up and get some minnows. You don't have to thank me but once you're catching a fish every cast it'll be more fun.
