Yes but he wouldn't need to worry so much about that if he actually had an O-line that knew how to pick-up the blitzes.

Blame JT of you want to.

But it's kinda hard to do anything when the defense is in the back field before the QB even gets the ball.

Excuses, those reads were there to make, there were no disguised blitzes. You can't continually drop back into the pressure from the edges. Meyer out coached again.

Tonight has been one hell of a learning experience for JT Barrett. I don't think you can take away anything from tonight about how his career will go, this has just been an all around shit show. He's made his fair share of mistakes but he'll learn from them. The offensive line and receivers did him no favors at all tonight.

Nah, when you can continue to call long developing plays with a shitty line, freshman QB, and receivers who can't get open you stick with that plan.

Ok everyone.
The Big Ten is really bad, so OSU can still finish 10-2, 11-1.

He's not dropping back into anything.
The fucking defense was in the backfield before the damn ball was even in JT's hands.

Its not a read. They were in bump and run press coverage, and the majority of the time he was surrounded by defenders before his Wrs got into their routes or got separated. And when they actually did their job and picked up a blitz, it lead to big plays for OSU

Agree that the receivers did him no favors, but it isn't as if VT is a fantastic team. They'll probably compete for the coastal division in the ACC but certainly aren't favored.

Ohio St. has way too much talent to lose like this.

I saw receivers running wide open off the line all game from where the blitzes left openings, but okay.

They have no chance of sniffing the playoff, so it doesn't even really matter at this point.

Worst conference in the history of the world and it was all right in front of them to go undefeated and make the playoff. Totally wasted year.

This kid went 9/29 with three picks and was sacked almost 10 times and people are making excuses for him. Some of it is on the line and the play calling but some of it is on him as well.

You must literally be the only one. And good luck throwing to those wr's when you cant step up and pass bc your guards are 4 yards back and in your face with OLB's/Cbs flying around the edges.

At least in the 2nd half

That actually may be a silver lining from tonight. Season outlook really isn't changed. Team was obviously never going to compete for a title this year, but still might be good enough to win the B1G.
