In most cases it's a good idea to take the money ASAP when you consider the time value of money. In AI's case, since he is an idiot, it probably was best for him to have a trust fund.

It's unbelievable how dumb these guys are with money.

Like I said before, he might as well get into coaching to make some money before his big payment in 2030.

College or NBA you'd have to be a colossal train wreck to hire him, but they obviously would be out there.

Philly should hire him. He's a big name there and they're still actively tanking, so having a complete failure of a coach leading them to a 4-win season would be part of the plan.

Players would love it. "Guys here is the game schedule, please arrive no later than the 2nd quarter. If you are looking for scheduled practices on the calendar...there won't be any"

I think he would be an absolute horrible coach. He was the ultimate chucker...shot under 42% for his career. I dont have the time to go check but I bet if you check the top 22 scores in NBA history he has to be at or very near the low end of list in shooting percentage.

I will cut him some slack as a player. Some of the teams he was on, an off balanced fade away shot was probably a better shot than passing the ball to somebody else
