The organization receiving the donations only spent 27% of their total revenue last year on medical research. I'm sure after this ALS challenge they will allocate all of the money towards medical research and not fattening their own wallets.

most of the money raises is not incremental to charity as a whole. ALS benefits, other charities suffer.
