Some "analyst" on CNN just said that when they brought him on and a law enforcement expert to discuss Darren Wilson's account of what happened.

That's just fucking awful. This dude literally just implied that Darren Wilson examined forensic evidence for 6 weeks and then crafted a story based on that. But what nobody called him out on...was that he's implying that Darren Wilson's account IS BASED ON FUCKING FORENSIC EVIDENCE! So yes, I do expect people to buy it.

Did he probably over-inflate some things? Ya. I'm sure it didn't really feel like a 5 year old holding on to Hulk Hogan. But I'm inclined to believe a majority of the story because the other accounts make no sense when you think about law enforcement training. Why would he pull the suspect in through the front window of his car?

The only legit complaint I can see is that once Brown started running away, and Wilson was chasing, why keep firing? Why not go to the taser at that point? The immediate threat of him hitting you is gone. So I would think that you could then resort to non-lethal force to subdue the suspect.

But then again, I've never been through law enforcement training. So I don't know the protocol. Which is why I'm not flipping my shit about this whole thing.
Would you not chase after a guy that punched you and tried to steal your gun? He didn't shoot MB until MB started charging at him. He gave warning to stop, fired his weapon, gave warning again when he didn't stop, fired a second time, MB was still charging and the third time DW shot MB he got him in the head. That's why he shot him. He never once shot him in the back.

Oh I totally agree with chasing after him. These are cops. They aren't supposed to just sit back and wait. They are supposed to pursue a suspect. And without a taser, yes, I totally understand the need to use your weapon at that point. And I know that he didn't shoot him in the back at all. I am not saying that DW was in the wrong based on the information that I have seen. I do think that sometimes Cops go to lethal force a little too quickly. But in this instance, I do not think that was the case.

Apparently cops are no longer allowed to pursue suspects of robbing a store or assaulting a police officer. They are to be let go and be punished by their parents at home.

Seriously, I cannot fathom the amount of stupidity that exists in this country. Fucking how can people be so dumb? This isn't even controversial, this is just straight up DUMB.

Finally an analyst on CNN just said, "People need to remember, Wilson was interviewed the day after the shooting...when there was no forensic evidence available. He was interviewed the day after that...when there was no forensic evidence available. His story hasn't changed."

I think that's the important thing that people need to remember. He may have used hyperbole on some parts. But his story stayed the same and then the forensic evidence supported his side.

I just don't get these analysts coming on and brushing off MB's action as sort of a "boys will be boys" attitude. He's a fucking criminal. Aaron Rodgers graduated from high school, went to college, and then to the NFL. Oh yeah he also killed some people along the way, but since he went to college he must be an angel.

I have a few friends like this; all are very liberal. I will never apologize for being white or for what people with my skin color did 50+ years ago. I also don't believe in 'white privilege'; I got everything I have in life through doing well in school, following the rules, and working my ass off to network.

Why is it that black people are the only minority that is unable to overcome adversity? Do you think Chinese, Indian, Mexican people got an easy ride in this country? No. They worked their fucking ass off and earned reputations for being smart/hard working etc. Until black people start looking inward and doing what every other race does to be successful in life they will always be where they are today.

And yes, I do realize a good majority of black people are intelligent productive citizens but the bad apples seem to get all the attention. If you're black, speak out against that shit. White people can't say anything about black people without being called racist even if its the truth; you need black people to come out and start valuing education, responsibility, accountability, etc.

Pissing match as to why the Nat Guard was not there Monday night. I ws wondering WTF as they were activated. Someone done fucked up. Mayor said he tried to call Governor and others and would never get a return call....

I say why bother? The National Guard got a lot of shit for being too "militarized".

My wish for Ferguson is to eliminate the police department entirely and let the hood rats burn the city to the ground.

I've seen people continually diminishing the cop for not looking "beat up enough."

It's possible to look like you went through a meat grinder and be "OK." It's also possible to get knocked out cold and look like you didn't get touched. If someone is punching you, they could knock you out. If someone knocks you out, your life is in their hands.

If you had a strong opinion on this case either way before the Grand Jury testimony was released, your are probably a racist.

If you don't think the justice system is biased against minorities, you are probably an idiot.

If you think that bias played into the cops decision, and the grand jury decision in this instance, you are probably an idiot.

I would encourage all the protesters to place that energy into - mother/fathering their own kids, volunteering in the community, snitching on the real criminals in their communities, and driving legal change to the justice system.

Propose a solution to the justice system. What changes should we make? Rely entirely on public pressure and not evidence to convict? Don't arrest black people no matter what? Here's some advice, don't like the justice system? DON'T BREAK THE FUCKING LAW.
