What don't you get about race wasn't a factor until he was killed by a white man? Media made race a factor because WHITE killed BLACK.

What I don't get is how the race has any influence on the events.

What is the role or factor that race played that the media is reporting?

If the races were different would the events have unfolded any different? I know that's speculative but I'mmore interested in understanding how one race of the individuals has any particular influence on the events that occurred.

Understood? Sit them down and talk with them, and I'm sure you're be further from understanding them. Why are they rioting? B/c they thought the white cop shooting the black kid was all out of race. Why do they feel that? Because they don't give a shit about any facts brought up by the grand jury. A black kid could've shot the cop in the leg, and they'd still be up in arms if the cop turned around and killed the kid (in obvious self defense). What is there to "understand" in any of this?

Remember too, a grand jury is biased towards indictment because the prosecutor selects the jury. Basically, there is ZERO evidence corroborating anything that puts MB in a decent light. Most of the "eye witnesses" they found were not even near the crime scene and had admitted they were just repeating stories heard from a select few. One of these alleged eye witnesses stated that Brown was killed by the cop execution style(ie. Wilson was standing behind him and shot him point blank in the back of the head) which of course is ridiculous based on the forensic evidence.
