The black community is about as collectively lost as lost can be. Priorities way, way out of whack.

Oh yeah, I read about how donations for the living guy whom, so far, is still getting paid, hasn't been sued and seemingly has no current reason to need donations, have been going great. So great that the site that donations are being run through had to disable their comments due to how horribly racist they tended to be. So yeah, no looting or violence...just spreading hate.

What would possess someone to donate to the cop, George Zimmerman, Cliven Bundy, etc? All the great charitable organizations in the world and people send their hard earned money to stuff like this.

Killing unarmed black people, whether justified or not, certainly seems to be a good way to get rich quick lately. Kind of bizarre.

He's another person who has received a lot of charitable donations that no rational person can figure out why.

If you would have left it there, that's fine. Cliven didn't kill any unarmed black people though

Maybe because people are turned off to the fact that people's lives are being ruined due to false accusations? What's more "bizarre" is people donating to the family of Mike Brown when all he is, is a dead thug.

I guess that could be a reason, though I question why Richard Jewell didn't get any donations if that were a strong motivation alone.

Of all people, why would you send money to the Stl cop? He hasn't been charged with anything, is still getting paid, hasn't been sued, and no one knows for sure whether he did anything wrong or not yet. For all we know he'll be totally cleared and get to keep his job.

Hundreds of people thought to themselves, "well, I have some extra cash. Could donate to the Gates foundation to eliminate disease in 3rd world countries. Maybe donate to the children's hospital in my town. An animal shelter? Nah....I'll go with the St Louis cop."

It's bizarre anyway you look at it.

You seem to be confused about the tense of "hasn't."

We are lost.
I got a feeling he was hoping no one would notice they were going since he says he is trying to keep a low profile about the issue.

The point is he will be sued and already has lawyers preparing.

I'm not really surprised the cop is getting more donations. His supporters probably have jobs.

White males also tend to be much more beta than blacks, which would help explain the receptiveness to giving away your money to a man you don't know.

I don't think it is smart or noble to give money away to try and win political points no matter the cause.

I'm sure if the internet was as prominent and it was as easy to donate then as it is now, he would have had many donations.

Not sure what would motivate people to donate to cop who might be out of a job because of bad judgement. Most people are probably thinking he'll need money for lawyers, but I'm pretty sure he will have more than adequate defense provided by the taxpayer.

that isn't anything close to what LJ would post. Not sure why you consistently call people out for being other posters when it just isn't the case.
