In an era where a high 3 ERA is average now (pitching has dominated more and more every year for the last 5), Leak is a 5th starter. He's solid if you have him for his pre-contract years, but he's not a guy I'd ever consider giving a long-term contract. I read before the break at some point that Leake's "people" were looking at Homer Bailey's numbers to prepare their potential contract demands. That brought the laughs.
