I can handle some mosquito but this year is crazy. My lovely, nut case neighbor the nurse has had the city Health Dept. come out a test for mosquitoes. Now they are testing sample in my yard. They have captured 2 Asian Tiger mosquitoes out of 105 samples in her yard the report is not out yet on my area.

I’m done with this shit the war is on… next week end my yard will be sprayed with Seven and I’m buying a fogger.

Which bring me to my Thread….

Anyone on the OC have any knowledge of.. What the best type of Fogger to buy?

How can you tell the Asian Tiger ones from the other Asian mosquitoes? Don't they all look the same?

I see stripes.
[h=1]It bites 50 times in 15 minutes, carries 20 different diseases and likes human blood... so can anything stop the Asian tiger mosquito conquering the world?[/h]
  • Mosquito carries yellow fever, dengue fever, encephalitis, and Chikungunya
  • Feeds all day, not just at dawn and dusk, and has a taste for human blood
  • Has spread to US, Europe, Africa, Sth America, is about to invade Australia

[/LIST]

Yes. You were. I'm such a dumb ass I inquired about the difference between a regular and Asian tiger mosquito.

Go back to drinking your Busch lite and watching Duck Dynasty.

I have a Burgess fogger, it helps but when they are heavy nothing seems to work well. Best thing you can do is eliminate any standing water. Put a drop of cooking oil in birdbaths...apparently it suffocates the mosquito larvae without hurting the birds.

They have been so heavy that even when I put on repellent, they find the areas I miss. SMFH.

I'm looking into buying a bat house now, however the plans to build one looks to be a fun project ....

I'm going with the Bat house first see if that works
