Someone should look it up, but it was my understanding that transgender means no surgery of the genital region, but otherwise cross-dresses and may take hormones and undertake surgery that feminizes the breasts. Transexual means one goes through the genital transformation. I could be wrong.

I am uncertain, the information is what I always thought. I know absolutely no one that identifies as either. I wouldn't know a transsexual if they were peeing next to me at Ohio Stadium.

Yeah even the medical community doesn't know what to make of it. They self-identify on a spectrum so there is no easy way to define each role outside of clumping them all together as degenerate SJWs
