It's crazy to see how much enrollment has dropped over the years with i believe the senior class last year being 65-70 kids in Campbell. I personally would hope the struthers game would still played but I understand if they decided not to. Is thier any specific reason for why Struthers enrolment is staying strong or atleast steady. Poland has been in the paperi n the past about potentialy closing a school due to decreased enrollment. I read on another website that Poland has been entaining the idea of moving down a division in the AAC as well.

the invites just went out. But everyone knows more than likely they will jump to the itcl. They are smaller schools. but we have to finish whatever contracts first so it will be 2017 before that would happen. That's if they do what everyone would think they would do.

I have heard at least next year. I believe Campbell will accept the invitation to join the ITCL in 2017. But it has to be voted on by the BOE. It's not a done deal one way or the other until that vote takes place.Spread All Day;1761041 wrote:The struthers game is scheduled for 2016 for what its worth.

I believe the board will vote yes. My reasons: the ITCL is a better fit for ALL athletics at Campbell, boys and girls. For football, Campbell will have better flexibility than it does now as a member of the AAC. In the small school tier of the All American Conference, Campbell can only play "up" within the league. In the ITCL, Campbell can play "down." If enrollment continues to decline or remains stagnant, Campbell can move down to the smaller school tier in the ITCL. In the AAC, there is no lower tier to switch to should enrollment continue to decline or remain stagnant. Campbell is already the smallest school in the AAC.omemorialhigh;1761425 wrote:I heard this is far from official

yes, it is they will start play in 2017! This is the best move Campbell can do to be competitive in a conference unless something drastic happens with numbers of enrolment. I can't imagine more the 35 kids coming out in the next 3 to 5 years. And possibly 35 is reaching. But I hope the seasons the freshman and lower teams have the same success and stay togeather on varsity. It would be wonderful to get back to a winning season and the playoffs under Rozum. I don't know how we do next year. all we can do is wait and see how the talent is next year.
So for anyone wanting to check the small article here is the link. http://www.wfmj.com/story/30659956/campbell-is-leaving-the-all-american-conference

I don't know. If Toronto joins then they should be in the same tier as they have about the same numbers almost identical. Other than that I would be just guessing.

The best information I have indicates Campbell will join the top tier. That tier consists of Crestview, East Palestine, South Range, Springfield Local, and United Local. But this is not confirmed. If this indeed is the case, Campbell has quite a bit of work to do to get on the same level as the top teams in this tier as far as football goes.Al Bundy;1767396 wrote:What teams will be in their tier?

This is the best move for Campbell. We can now e a little more competitive. Just would be nice to get the numbers up in the schools. If the number drop anymore it will be hard to get talent on a yearly basis.
