From June through August I only listen to games. I don't see anythign on TV until September. Love Hamilton's game call. Hate Rosey.

Brantley was listed as being in today's line-up but then started not feeling well and was pulled. They are taking him back to the Clinic to be evaluated again.

...and with outfielders in mind, Nyjer Morgan is on the 60 day DL...about a month away from returning. He is working out at the Tribe's Goodyear complex, and running in the pool. Morgan has a PCL strain.
What started out to be a promising start and Comeback Player of the Year possibility, has turned to shit for Grady Sizemore. Sizemore was DFA'd by the Red Sox just a few plate appearances from collecting a bonus. Sizemore had a great first 2 weeks of the season, but has hit just .187 in a 43 game stretch since.
It might be a good idea for the Tribe to pick him up since they seem to like .180 hitters so much they hit them in prominent spots in the batting order

KC is smoking the Tigers right now, and baring a miracle comeback will be in sole possession of the AL central lead I would have to think for the first time in a long ass time this late in the season.

It seems like every team is employing an overshift on most left handed hitters....I think a lot of guys have to go back to 'school', and learn to take the ball the opposite way.
