I don't remember you specifically, but no worries mate I'm still here. Just don't post as often anymore. It's 2014, IP bans are irrelevant thanks to the wonders of the internet.

Almost forgot about this. Quaker, what's the deal? You agreed to give up your manhood, time to pay up.

We don't need another W.A.S.P. for president. They have done enough to destroy this country. It's time for Hillary. Enough with all the war mongers and racists.

Isn't Hillary a WASP? I think she has a Methodist background while Bill had a Baptist background.

I do have a legit question for the Republicans on this forum:

All we heard in 2008 (and 2012) was how Obama had no qualifications to hold the office of President. My question is..how is Ben Carson any different? While he is accomplished in his field, how does that qualify him to be President?

Having worked in the private sector at some point in one's life is a huge jump in qualifications over anyone who hasn't.

True, and to have an extremely intelligent neurosurgeon [read, NOT A LAWYER], who WORKED his way up from nothing and became successful as a role model for the youth, particularly black youth, would be highly beneficial. And who better qualified to lead REAL market-based reforms in health insurance than he (as opposed to a bunch of liberal lawyers)? At the end of the day, there is literally nothing that could get any worse under Carson, or a hundred other well-qualified people.

They didn't like Herman Cain, but neither did I. Can't really make any predictions based on how Herman Cain was treated because he stepped all over himself and really didn't seem that knowledgeable.

But Carson is extremely well-spoken, highly intelligent and there's a lot more respect from the general public for a surgeon making $1M a year then someone running a Fortune 500.

No need for the expletives. Go with cracka from now on.

Also, I hear Dr. Carson's pants always have a nice crease in them.

I should have said male. By the way Clinton was a good president. His wife will be too. It's all about the economy and Clinton helped make a great economy and then Bush destroyed it.

Hahaha....Clinton did nothing more than try to stay out of the way...but had his hand in the housing bubble and allowed the internet bubble to build to the point of bursting - big seeds of the Great Recession. Clinton arguably is more to blame than Bush having set the table for the 2008 financial crisis.

Clinton came to terms with the Gingrich / Kasich budgets which was a big key, and then rode the internet wave. He really did nothing except reap the rewards of the good times started by Reagan. To his credit though, at least he did not try to purposefully destroy all that was good .......... like the current radical.

Clinton pushed and signed the legislation that led to the housing collapse..the only real thing he did for the economy in his 8 years in the WH, aside from not screwing up anything that Reagan and Bush 41 put in place.

Correct, but the easy money/mortgage bubble really grew out out of the monetary stimulus that was in response to the internet bubble and 9/11. That's really all Greenspan/Bernanke, but still Bush's watch. Still no housing bubble (thus no financial crisis) without the repeal of Glass-Steagal and the new housing mandate (typical economic socialism - don't understand that "losers" are a necessary part of a healthy equilibrium)

It's kind of like Bush blaming Obama for where Iraq is today and vice-versa. There's definitely a shared blame/responsibility there.

Yeah, I can see where keeping up with the activity on the GB would take up most of your time. : thumbup:
