i just love the fans arguments "can you run for 90 minutes?" Um, yeah, I have and it is called a half marathon and was a little longer han 90 minutes.
and those fuckers dont run that whole time. There is lots of standing around.
I saw just a little bit of it at some restaurant on sunday night. Got there when USA scored, then that guy faked an injury...*****, and then the other team tie it up.
There is a reason why it is the most "popular" sport in the world. It is cheap as fuck, and the basic action of the game can be done by anyone who can walk. Go to my nephews/neices youth soccer games and they are happy to run aroun dfor a bit and kick the ball a few times. Doesnt take much to actually be able to play teh game.
Sure..hope USA wins but I dont waste any time watching it.
This is the stupidest argument ever.
As if the basic skills of basketball are somehow hard? Or football? Or half the sports out there. Hockey, because of the skating, is about the only mainstream sport that actually takes another skill aside from being able to run with hand-eye coordination.
