Hard to question anything tonight. but why is Kipnis hitting cleanup and Ted Williams batting fifth?

Kipnis has really been great since his return. If they can solidify the middle of the line-up, it would do wonders.TBone14;1624368 wrote:Lost in all of this is that Brantley and Kipnis are having amazing games as well.
Brantley is 3 for 3 with a homer and 5 runs scored.
Kipnis is 3 for 5 with 4 RBIs.

Bigger and better question would be why is Santana hitting 6th?

Staying up just in case the Tribe have another big inning and Lonnie gets to hit again. I want to be able to tell my son about this game one day and I can't tell him I went to bed early and missed 2034 HOF inductee Lonnie Chisenhall's last at bat in his 4 homer game.

Lonnie's slugging percentage is a whopping .615. But pales in comparison to George Herman Kataras' 1.625. lol.

2 games back!.. Tigers fail to tie it up with a guy on third with one out. Officially tied in the win column.

So, House doesnt go 5 and isnt eligible for the W. Does it have to be a pitcher, or can the official scorer be totally awesome and give it to Chisenhall??

Lonnie got me 27 fantasy points tonight. To put that in context, the 20th best fantasy hitter over the last week had 27 points in my league. Had trouble deciding whether to start Lonnie or Corey Dickerson tonight. Ended up starting both and benching Machado, and Dickerson had a HR too.

Holy Chisenhall. I have no idea where this Lonnie came from, but damn.

Why is Santana in the line up at all? He should be Gomes' back up....and even then Kotaras is out playing him. Yeah even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then. but just because he walks a lot and hits a home run every 2 weeks isn't good enough.HitsRus;1624376 wrote:Bigger and better question would be why is Santana hitting 6th?

Fun to be a tribe fan right now. Hopefully McCallister is good to go next time it's Houses's turn to pitch.

These guys are a likable team and fun to watch when they are playing well.

Hopefully they finish out the last 6 of this road trip strong and have some nice crowds to play in front of when they get home. However, watching games around baseball, there are very few teams putting together nice crowds on Monday-Thursday, especially if Thursday is a day game. The Rangers have had a pretty good run the last handful of years and there could not have been more than 15k in the house last night.HitsRus;1624507 wrote:These guys are a likable team and fun to watch when they are playing well.
