Tribe notes:
The Tribe drafted Juan Gomes in the 37th round of the draft...the younger brother of Yan, he is also a catcher.
Nick Swisher is scheduled to make his first rehab start at double A Akron on Tuesday. Swisher ran the bases yesterday without incident. He has been on the DL with knee problems.

Twins sign Kendrys Morales...I was wondering what happened to him....nobody would give him what his agent (Boras) wanted after he turned down the qualifying offer from the Mariners. Now that the amatuer draft is past, the Twins will not have to part with the draft pick that would have been due had they signed him a week earlier. Morales will receive a pro-rated $12 million 1 year contract (the Twins will only have to pay him $7.6 million). The Twins apparently feel they can compete this year.

Lonnie Chisenhall with 2 hits yesterday raised his batting average to .365....the highest in the majors for players with at least 150 at bats.

So, Kottaras hits 2 HRs last time up with the Tribe, got sent back down. This time, he must realize he needs to hit 3 HRs, as he blasts a solo shot in his 1st AB since being recalled.

Somebody compared TJ House to Jeremy Sowers...couldn't agree more. Same delivery...same type of stuff. Sowers was pretty good his rookie year.
