I had thought that ESPN was going to be the last place that I would be submitted to have the gay agenda pushed onto us.

I get off work Saturday, get to the hotel to catch the end of the draft to see who is gonna be Mr Irrelevant and get bombarded by that fucking bullshit.
Thanks espn for ruining the last channel that I could watch that didnt get that agenda front and center.
and it wasnt just one kiss. They kept doing it and some stupid cake thing later.

We stopped watching after that fucking stunt.

No one's pushing a gay agenda on you. I'm fairly confident that gay men find you no more attractive than straight women.

It wasn't a stunt. That's what you do when you get drafted. You kiss your SO. 99% of te kisses just aren't shown on television. This one was.

So you've gotten upset every time you've seen a guy rub cake on his gf/wife's face then kiss her?

I don't see why more people aren't admitting it grossed them out a little. I don't care if gay people get married, adopt kids, whatever. I'm still allowed to be a little grossed out by two men kissing.

Most of my straight male friends would admit the same thing in private as well, even though they fundamentally support gay rights.

The fact that this is a topic of national discussion is the answer to all those questions and statements concerning why he had to have a public announcement. Imagine if he was drafted, he led a normal life and did not hide his sexuality and after the draft someone took a picture or video of him kissing his significant other.

Good for him for getting drafted and good luck as it is not easy to make the team. He will most likely feel additional pressure of not wanting to let anyone down as being the first openly gay player in the back.

I do not think it is gross. I do not understand the attraction, but that's because I am just naturally attracted to women. But I don't think it's gross.

Why arent more saying anything?

Fear of be ostracized, mocked, and called homophobic. That is why. Many people are afraid to stand up and support their morals when it comes to things like this because they feel it will make them look bad.

You're definitely allowed to be grossed out. But you're probably not going on rants about the gays shoving it in your face or pushing their agenda on you. So you're likely not in the same boat as thavoice in that regard.

As for the kiss....no fucks given. I see weirder shit than that daily, because Brooklyn. My only issue is with the hype ESPN has given it, but I'm not surprised at all. Fuck ESPN.

Yeah fuck ESPN. They are milking the story. But that's not Sam's fault or "the gays" either. ESPN is really awful.
