Rittman over grove city 31-14. Blanked them until late in the third when a tipped pass was picked for 6. Then jv went in and let them score again

I have been out of town for 3 weeks but have been keeping up with my Bobcats!! Looks like they have been playing some pretty good football. Can somebody tell me, is their running back that good or is the line that good or is it a combination of both? they have had over 200 yards rushing the last 2 weeks, are the teams they playing just not that good or is Norwayne another powerhouse football team like the last 4 years? I hate being out of town and missing all the gossip and not seeing the games hopefully I will be back in town when they start WCAL. Looks like the QB battle has been won by the Jr. Some Norwayne fans or anybody following them can you please give me some updates on the team??

In response to Alum's question after two weeks; I think the league has played out as I thought. It appears Chippewa and Norwayne are the teams to beat, but neither team has played a quality opponent. Norwayne has played Wellington which has been blown out in both games, and a very down CVCA ball club. Chippewa has beaten two very poor teams as well. The Waynedale following thought I had an agenda when I stated I thought they would start 1-2, and after next week they will be right there. Never understood the hype behind this team after the players they lost last year. Hillsdale has been probably the biggest surprise, but the Manchester win lost some luster after last night. I think it still comes down to Norwayne and Chippewa, and I think I'm leaning towards Norwayne, but time will tell once each team plays a better opponent. To Bobcats question regarding the Norwayne running game, I think Miller is a good back, but the numbers are inflated because of the competition played.

Listen...please don't think you are some all-knowing prognosticator just because you said the Bears would be 1-2 after week 3. It really is not a big surprise to many of us at all. AT BEST, many Bear fans thought 2-1 would be a blessing. All the "hype" that you are talking about on here didn't come from Waynedale fans. There is still A LOT of football left to play...let's just all take a deep breath and relax....:RpS_blushing:Wcal observer;1651050 wrote:In response to Alum's question after two weeks; I think the league has played out as I thought. WCAL Week 3 Games:
Chippewa (2-0) @ Tuslaw (0-2)
Dalton (1-1) @ Timken (1-1)
Hillsdale (2-0) @ Loudonville (2-0)
Northwestern (2-0) vs Columbia (1-1)
Norwayne (2-0) vs Ontario (1-1)
Rittman (2-0) vs Mapleton (0-2)
Smithville (1-1) @ Fairless (0-2)
Waynedale (1-1) vs Triway (2-0)
My initial thought is that the WCAL is favored in 4, underdog in 1-2, and an even matchup in 2-3.
What are your thoughts?
Chippewa (2-0) @ Tuslaw (0-2)

Norwayne (2-0) vs Ontario (1-1)
Rittman (2-0) vs Mapleton (0-2)

Waynedale (1-1) vs Triway (2-0)

I'm thinking it's not looking so bright for the WCAL this week, 2-6 maybe. Which four do you have them favored in?thePITman;1651938 wrote:WCAL Week 3 Games:

I think Chippewa and Norwayne win, and possibly Smithville, Dalton, and Nwestern. The last three should be close competitive games that could go either way. I think Hillsdale falls short, and Waynedale gets thumped.

I missed that one too! Rittman might be able to pull that one out, are they at home? PIT what is your feeling on the Triway game, is there a chance Waynedale can play will them? I don't think it is going to be as bad as everyone is saying. Give us a score and your thoughts.thePITman;1652147 wrote:Oops! Thanks. I've added them, now.

Yes, Rittman is at home.Alum01;1652150 wrote:I missed that one too! Rittman might be able to pull that one out, are they at home? Waynedale can definitely play with Triway. They will be more athletic and well-rounded on offense than West Holmes, and more efficient on offense and have more depth on defense than Orrville. The Golden Bears will be a challenge for Triway. The Titans are going to score points, only having to punt once in the past 2 weeks; no 3rd & long ever seems out of reach. So Waynedale's offense will need to execute very well against an experienced defense. But if there's any offense in the area, historically, that can keep a defense guessing, it's Waynedale, especially with the playmakers they have that can break one at any time on the ground and through the air. If Waynedale misses a few tackles like West Holmes and Orrville did, it could get ugly quickly as any player on Triway's offense can break the big play. I'm not going to predict a score.

WCal, wht is your problem? The reality is Waynedale will get beat this week. Are we not allowed to pick against Waynedale? Are you really that fragile that a prediction puts you in a tail spin? I think you if poll 100 people outside of Creston, 98/99 people say Triway, and most by at least two touchdowns. If it makes you feel better, I'll pick them against Rittman, Dalton, Northwestern, and most likely Smithville. Wow, I hat to see what life will be for you by week 5 or 6.

No problem here at all. I said great work!...: thumbup: Tail spin? Seriously? Believe me...your prognostications don't bother me at all. I just want to make sure you get credit where credit is due. But again, you aren't inventing the wheel here...there is no doubt Triway is a heavy favorite. Again...great work!...: thumbup:Wcal observer;1652284 wrote:WCal, wht is your problem? By the way...Waynedale is in Apple Creek Mr. Einstein not Creston.....:RpS_w00t: (nice try on the diversion though). However, like I say on here all the time...some of you make this way to easy!

Here is a prediction for you, by what week will you be clam merging to fire your coach again? The minute things don't go the way YOU plan, it's finger pointing time. I feel sorry for him the way many of the bear following act.

First of all...your iPhone auto correct got you on this post. "Clam merging"??? I assume you meant "clamoring"???: thumbup: Try just using the computer. Secondly, you OBVIOUSLY are a "rookie" because I do nothing but fight for our coach on here. My finger pointing is at the know-it-all "bear following" who usually don't have a clue as to what is really going on...:RpS_angry:Wcal observer;1652336 wrote:Here is a prediction for you, by what week will you be clam merging to fire your coach again?
