Why does everyone always knock Tressell for losing BCS games and never mention Bob Stoops? He is well on his way to losing his 4th consecutive, and 6th out of 7 Bowl games!! Throw his brother in there and combined they are 5-8 coaching in bowl games.

First of all, this game is still very much in doubt.

2nd of all, its not such a big deal because Oklahoma plays in the Big XII, which many consider to be a better league than the Big Ten. They'll discount the fact they lost to an upstart Boise team when you also see losses to LSU, USC, and West Virginia in there too

Hehe...Give him a break he's from Dover, so he always shoots his mouth off and then looks like a fool. It's in their blood. They're all related.

By the way, people do get on Big Game Bob. Perhaps the reason you hear about Captain Sweatervest more is because....YOU LIVE IN OHIO!!!!

No Whoops!! He has still lost 5 of his last 7 bowl games. By winning he did avoid the hat trick, +1.

To answer your original questions, it's because he coaches in Oklahoma, and Tressel coaches in Ohio. So, you are naturally going to hear more about Tressel.

The national media doesn't show it a lot because teams like Texas are backing up the B12 in terms of winning the big games whereas the B10 relies only on OSU to carry the load now that UM has hit the shitter.

But Oklahoma fans were pretty adamant that they wouldn't care if Stoops left OKLA for ND.

Um, Stoops gets PLENTY of criticism. Oklahoma has almost run him out of Norman a few times. His nickname is Big Game Bob, and it isnt cause he wins them all......

He gets plenty of regional criticism, but not on the national stage like Tressel. Not even close.
