Acme Oyster House - 10/10. Considering the crapshow that is Bourbon street, this place is a gem. Acme is absolutely amazing. I absolutely loved the char-grilled oysters.

We tried on three separate occasions to go there, but the first two times the line was out the door and around the block. On the last day we were in New Orleans, we lucked out and got right in. I was prepared to wait as long as it took since it was our last chance, but we somehow timed it just right.

When I was in NO earlier this year, we went to the Ruby Slipper Cafe for brunch...fuckin incredible.

Too drunk to remember the other places we went to, but they were all really, really good.

Yea, we managed to get right in right before they closed. It wasn't until the next afternoon that we realized how popular this place was. The lines during the day and early evenings were insane.

Yea...I definitely felt it after that. I tried to stay away from sugary drinks, but it's flipping impossible down there.

Forgot about this place. We went here too. I had eggs cochon(?). It was basically eggs benedict with pulled pork. It was good. I think I got an older batch of pulled pork, as it was kind of dry. My wife had shrimp and grits which were outstanding.

Sidebar...the one phrase that you'll never hear in New Orleans "Wow, this city smells amazing!"

Was in Wellington today stopped in for lunch at Dog Track Diner
Nice clean place, very friend and country feeling. Seemed to be a good selection the Big Belly Burger was inviting but I was hungry for a Perch Sandwich ... It was good not great and the tarter sauce ok .... I will go back but try something more inline in what they are know for or what the locals like... ????

Spent a week in Kenton over the weekend.......
One Plate in downtown. one of those places, mostly volunteer, where you pay what you can.
After sifting through what they actually did have that day the food was really good. Hash browns with grilled peppers were very good. The owner/boss was extremely helpful and nice.

Tony's in Findlay....Big Ben Roethlisberger place apparently. Award winning ribs which were fantastic. Very big and well stocked salad bar was very good as well, although how they have it set up really drew long and intrusive lines...

...I was in Pittsburgh over the weekend and hit 2 new places:

1. Pig Iron Public House in Cranberry Twp (good burgers, nice beer selection (brew their own craft beers on site)
2. Aviva Brick Oven in Warrendale (excellent greens/beans & sausage for an appetizer and made up our own style of pizza)

I was in Brunswick today, was hungry for Thai..... Lard Thai on Pearl Road great, if you live in the Brunswick area and you haven't eaten at Lard Thai try it asap... Boo coo dinky Dow

We just got a Mexican restaurant in our small town. Took my lunch break from work there to have shrimp enchiladas and a jumbo margarita. #winning

Oh yeah, everything was good. Maybe more rice with the meal than I'd have wanted, but there still was a lot of non-filler food for a cheap price. When my drink costs more than my food, I'm not complaining!

When you want to get down to basic simple good food and value Heartville Kitchen is the place to go. The only problem is my wife will drop a few bucks in the Pandora shop and potential hundred plus in the Brighten shop... But I will take than chance for a hot roast beef sandwich, mash potatoes and gravey, cooked carrots, pie and a sweet tea...

Buckhead Mountain Grill in Bellevue Ky,
5/10. Place was nice and all, but the food was blah. Salmon croquets and I got a steak. I have to stop getting steak at non steak places. Just wasn't that tasty.


Cheddars in No. Ky.
5/10. Nothing special at that place. Food was OK, but nothing that really would make me wanna go back.

It is kind of a misnomer, thinking it is just wings and the such...


Got the Prime Rib....9/10! Fantastic. That wood fired grill..man it is fucking awesome. The place is doing well enough they are building a new place which will be nicer and bigger!

Yeah-I wish they named it something else because I can't get my wife to go there because she just thinks it's your basic wings place even though I show her the reviews on Yelp and stuff....she's never been there. I've been there a couple times and loved it.

I didn't go for months thinking the same thing. Talked to their manager once and they were surprised how many burgers/steaks they sold and were going to rebrand it a little differently and start to advertise The Woodfire Grill more than just Ctown wings. They are building a new place..will be awesome.

Old Carolina is hit or miss... when we get it from Stow wile visiting the in-laws in Kent, it's usually pretty good. The Massillon one always sucks. We keep saying we're going to try Mission BBQ but haven't yet.

Going to give 91 Wood Fired Oven by Lake Cable a shot Friday.

I have never had a bad meal or experience at 91 Wood ... There a salad dressing (I will remember which one later) that was so wonderful I order a second salad.....balsamic vinaigrette??
it was the balsamic salad..:)

i never had their pizza and salad ... But I understand the pizza is worth the up scale price.

Emerils Fish House - We did the 4 course tasting menu. Everything was good but the standouts were the BBQ Shrimp my wife's Salmon. The desserts Pecan Pie and Bananna Cream Pie were amazing.
