Bundy is an asshole. He profits from raising beef on federal land with out paying the fees.

Bundy had every right to say what he did. And we have every right to call him out for being an old racist dinosaur.

I do not know what changed in the last 30 years, but "working like a ******" used to be a positive statement. Now it just means lazy and/or working the system to do as little as possible.

The narcissism is rampant in the urban black community. The kids are taught how to suck the gubmint tit at a very young age. They learn from their mothers, and fathers ( if they even know who they are ) It is nearly impossible for them to escape from this environment because of transportation issues that have to do with where they live and the jobs that are available in the near geographic vicinity of where they live. There are not many jobs in the public housing areas because of the crimes that are committed by the people that live in their own vicinity. and worse, they refuse to turn in the people that do the crimes.

The time of using slavery as an excuse is long over. The people are being held down by themselves, and us for allowing this welfare conveyor belt to continue.

Funny part is the govt loses a boatload of money on administering those grazing permits. Like $20M in revenues vs. $140M in expenses PER YEAR - has to be one of the most wasteful and inefficient govt programs out there.

They could actually make more money (pure profit!) selling the land and collecting property tax (to say nothing of the revenue from the sale)....but then that means eliminating govt jobs and giving up the ability to dictate how that land is used.

You can find the same thing in poor white neighborhoods on west side columbus or any other city. Poor people are poor and ignorant. Race has nothing to so with it

While I don't think the full video was much better than the edited one...one of the things I did pick-up and understand was his point (poorly stated) about not being better off just a slave to a different master.

The word choices bothered me, but I thought worse was the way he was talking AT these different groups. And the gross oversimplification that ignore all the progress that has been made. Blacks may be disproportionately poor, but being a slave to uncle sugar is purely an ignorant/lazy thing.

He's really not saying anything different than most do about welfare and big gubmit, he's just a dumb hick that's really bad at communication who doesn't know how to sanitize his comments so as not to offend.

I don't think he's a racist or hates those groups he's just hopelessly ignorant. I tend to think of someone with biased or prejudice (both of which are pretty natural for everyone) as bigots (that portion stemming from basic ignorance), but people who act on that to cause harm are racists.

Hell just yesterday I was driving up Florida Ave, the light turns greens and these two teenagers just casually start walking across the cross walk. Of course all the cars are honking at them. Do they realize what they are doing is wrong and they should hurry and gtfo of the way? No. Instead they face the direction of all of our cars and try to "taunt" us. If my father saw me doing that as a teenager he would kick my ass.

Unfortunately the black community just wants to keep making excuses. Until they stop doing that, the same cycle will occur and nothing will change. QQ all you want, but the truth hurts. There are plenty of success stories where people of the black community decided the excuses were getting old, and they decided to do something about it. Hopefully one day there will be more of those stories.
