The injury concerns is the one major negative. The same arguments people are using against Love could also be used against Kyrie.

In Aldridge's case, you can't just say because he plays away from the perimeter that he shouldn't be good inside. Plenty of perimeter big guys still shoot effectively inside, and LA isn't one of them.

There is literally no way to spin that stat.

#1 PF in win shares. Now obviously without looking the response is: duh, most of that will be offensive win shares. Well he was 11th among F-C (including SF's) in defensive win shares. Hmm.

That doesn't completely mesh with the whole "he doesn't play D" narrative. At the least, it suggests he plays decent D.
