Not quite true. Players are not allowed to talk to players currently under contract about where to play, salaries, etc. Its permissible for players to try to recruit FREE AGENTS but you can't even talk to a player not on your team under contract.

Are they colluding now? No, I don't think they technically are doing anything wrong. Did they in 2010? No doubt.
