My company actually pays 56.00 each, this includes a breathalyzer test and a myriad of paper work.

Also, any employee that is involved in a accident that requires medical attention is also required to comply with substance screening.

Seems like a waste to me, but it is what it is.

Speaking of drug testing...any local HS do it to their athletes?

New Bremen just voted to start, and Marion Local has had it for a number of years now

Our school district started drug testing when I was in 8th grade (1998). It was mandatory for every athlete for several years, and then they went to a system where you have to be suspected to be tested.

Did not know that many places had it.

Pretty sure the article said Marion Local had zero positive tests for athletes.
I think it comes down to the respect the kids have for their coach and sport on if they choose to partake in drugs and alcohol.

We had drug tests before season and randoms during. The randoms never seemed to select people who probably would have failed. Odd.

I didn't even think about this, but out company did the random drug screen yesterday (few times a year they randomly select a third of the company)

I've never been selected, but I don't give a shit because I'd pass every time.
