That doesn't distance from my position, I can't post, or start a thread about anything without a half-dozen or so of assholes ruining it. This isn't my website, but I don't understand why it is tolerated.

I could start a thread about the new Wes Anderson film and I guaran-damn-tee you one of these cretins would chime in just to berate me for being "pretentious."

It is lame, and I'll continue to call them out for being losers and jerks. They are all young, my guess few are married, and likely aren't gainfully employed, that isn't an excuse.

Maybe I misunderstood you.

You mentioned in it the context of things you didn't boast about as if implying you could have boasted about it. I just didn't view it as something worthy of even thinking it was something to be boasted about.

It would be boasting about the price of the ticket - Isla Fisher doesn't travel coach. The boasting would be about the ability to pay for it, not necessarily who was in the cabin (not that it matters, we didn't pay for the ticket as it was a partial work trip). Again, if people get their panties in their wad with what I post, they would have a heart attack over what I don't post about. Like that's head would explode if I mentioned a certain tournament coming up in Augusta.

Airline ticket prices, who was on the plane....it's clearly me. I don't get how that's something someone would even view as worhty of holding back in conversation so as not to appear boasting....or it even being recalled as a point of thought later on in my life.

It just struck me as odd. Again, it's not a criticism. I just don't get it.

It is an amazing thing. Someone yells "who shit" and people then start sniffing around and then complain that it smells like shit. Is it the shit's fault?, or is it the person that dropped the deuce in the first place?

It means she hates you guys, and wonders why I bother posting on a message board with idiots when i can discuss sports on thesabre.com.

Did you even follow the beginning of this? I posted an innocuous post about wedding etiquette (I can repost if you like!) and again was berated for no reason by one of the gaggle of idiots - with the rest following.

I enjoy posting here about sports and trivia and movies and what-not, but the jerkiness has to stop. It is only a few of the people here but they are very noisy, and don't respond to PMs unless you are ETB where you make them public. Apparently there is a fight going on in craptown, Ohio.
