Regardless, N.C. State never had a chance in overtime, whether they were tired or hadn't played a game in five years.gut;1593894 wrote:I've never been a believer in that theory. The NBA has just 48 hours between games routinely in the playoffs. I didn't play college bball, but at that age you really don't need 48 hours to recover. I know some of the games can get pretty physical, but it's nothing like football.
HS and college kids are playing basketball 5+ hours a day, every day, in the summer. I know it's not the same, but they should be fully recovered after a day.
This team is notorious for choking and tonight was no different. The momentum had switched and it didn't matter if Saint Louis was down to one player, they we're going to win in overtime.

Just disqualify both teams and move Louisville to the sweet 16.

The basketball gods just showed mercy on State. Who wants to bet they don't take advantage?

It's too bad they have to go to the line to convert a FT.

ND St has led like the whole game, and Oklahoma just took the lead 62-61 with 1:04 left

Maybe they can win in double. Haha. If State was going there. After that last free throw, I've once again lost faith.gut;1593906 wrote:But what about DOUBLE overtime?

Literally every upset I've had picked had the game won in the waning moments, then fisted themselves. NDSU, NCS, STJ

Go for two and 2OT when your 26 PPG scorer is on the bench with five fouls. Coaching move of the year.
