I also look at N.C. State having just played less than 48 hours ago. Then again, Gottfried, whenever people have expected him to do something at Alabama or NC State, he's disappointed. His only run was 2 years ago where they actually surprised people as a double digit seed.

I've never been a believer in that theory. The NBA has just 48 hours between games routinely in the playoffs. I didn't play college bball, but at that age you really don't need 48 hours to recover.
